That was a great hit by Cole. We need more of that from him.

Damn. D'ags needs to bury that.

When was the last time a Blues player was suspended for a legal play?

Burying that would have been huge D'Agostini.

Jackman has been huge lately. Ever since someone, probably Hitchcock let him off the leash and let him enter the zone, just him chipping in on the play, taking shots here and there, or skating it in a bit... it makes him that much better of a player for us, and really helps the team a lot.

Dag's off the post!

So close. Like the pace early and Halak strong on his first real attempt.

The only thing I don't like, is that, when the Blues miss on a really good chance, they have a tendency to quickly give up a bad goal.

Ian Cole's hit last year was no worse than the one that gave Tarasenko a concussion.

Blues also got a 5 minute penalty this year for a legal hit. (which admittedly was rescinded...not that it gave the Blues back the points it cost)

How did D'Agostini miss that wide open net??? My grandmother could have popped that in and she'[s been dead for 20 years!). There was a LOT of room!

Just lifted it an inch too high I think. Looked like it was right off the cross bar.

The puck probably rolled on him after making the move.

Those two hits were completely different

Cole hit: guy was coming across the ice Cole had plenty of time to make should to shoulder or shoulder to chest hit, but he did not he went shoulder to chin and did not make any body contact at all.

Tank hit: tank turns at the last second causing it to be shoulder to chin, but there was also full body contact making it a legal body check.

Making head contact is not illegal in the NHL.

Polak BLASTED him before he went down.

Clifford didn't even really land anything it didn't look like.

God. Jackman and Polak off the ice for five minutes. I hope Polak's alright, that looked brutal.

Great. Now we're rolling with 4 D for the next 5 minutes and LA is out Fraser and Clifford.
