6 goals in 8 games during his last stint, wasn't it?

Nothing wrong with what I said. He posted negative "facts/fiction", and I have witnessed (in this thread) a high degree of sensitivity towards anyone, who states anything negative towards Jensen by nucks fans.

But to answer your question, no, not really.
I've followed the thread. i've also seen a multitude of your posts throughout this entire forum. Just thought, I'd point to it, because things like your post below bring absolutely no good discussion to the topic, it's basically 'trolling'. Doesn't matter what you said in the past, I called out one specific post.

Why bother with this post? That's my general sentiment. Brings nothing new to the table, and is basically you're way of pushing a button.

Sensitive? Sure...but the post is garbage, thought I'd call you out for it.

Well if AIK didn't benefit from him let's just deduct those 17 goals he scored and se how little value he really was.. I have no doubt there was problems, but surely it couldn't just be Jensen.

The Canucks need to have the Generals sign off on Jensen going to the Wolves first.

Any chance that Oshawa wants to keep him around for their playoff run? I'm not familiar enough with the OHL or the Generals to know if they'd want him back or not.

He had a 5 period scoring streak to end the season and begin the playoffs.

Canuck AGM Gilman on why Nicklas Jensen can go to AHL Chicago, rather than OHL Oshawa: "His direct assignment to AIK nullified requirement." He's to be assigned to the Wolves on Friday. And as far as I know from Generals fans, he left a sour taste bolting for Sweden when he could've stuck with Oshawa, but if they want to make a push im sure they'd welcome him.

You don't think AIK benefited having him? (Still leads team in goals).

I'm just wondering what you're basing this on, I'm not dismissing it (although you're very recent account, your username rhyming with edmonton, and you're post suggesting Klefbom will be better than Hedman might intimate some anti-canucks bias).

I think AIK benefited, I think Jensen benefited (and got paid) and the Canucks also did.

I think the combination of the Canucks vetoing the potential trade and the possibility of the work ethic issues may have factored in to his limited ice time of late...it's hard to say, which one had more of an effect.

edit* Scored another goal today.

Love posting about all things Canuck, eh?
Watched 50+ games with AIK this season. I have no attachments to any NHL-team.

It's such a shame that it went this way for all parts since AIK could have benefited a lot more by having this talented guy on the ice. But facts is facts, when Jensen didn't play, the rest of the team performed better, there was a better synergy. I can't recall exactly when he started to get less ice time but it was around that time when the team actually went on a hot streak and made a rush towards the play-off.

Of course AIK benefited. He scored 17 goals and was without a doubt the guy with the best scoring ability on the team. What I'm saying is that his skill unfortunately didn't come without some problems off and on the ice, like I explained earlier. Some GM's thinks a lack of character is no big deal since you can transform him meanwhile I and AIK:s GM thinks it's hard to transform such consolidated behavior.

At 19 you don't worry about how he fit in on a pro team in Europe that he was only ever going to play one year on. They have to look out for their own future in the end and it was clear all along that Jensen wasn't going to be part of it. Also some talk of AIK wanting to deal him and Gillis stepping in, that could have had as much to do with the issues Jensen had with the team as much as anything. I'll reserve judgement on his character until I see what he does at the AHL and NHL levels. As for Oshawa, in junior these kids are stars and teenagers, you can't put too much into it. There's talk of them trying to get him back this year so it couldn't have been that bad.

I've seen him play 4-5 times a couple of those live. He's a good skater and has a NHL level shot. He's big and strong and controls the puck very well. Could definitely use his teammates better. Hopefully that comes with development. He didn't go out of his way to make hits, but he didn't shy away from the front of the net and the corners, that's toughness too, there are different kinds of grit and toughness. And being willing to go to the dirty areas to score goals is all he should be worried about at this point.

When I watched him the player that kept coming to mind was Jeff Carter. Now I'm not saying he's going to score 40 goals, he's more like a watered down version of Carter, but they play a similar style and have a similar skill set. I will be interested to follow his career in the AHL this year and next, he's got a lot of potential.

I appreciate the time you take to answer constructively

It is indeed unfortunate if this is truly the case..

So far through 4 games Nicklas has 2 goals. Had a nice PP goal tonight, received a pass going wide with his skate, kicked it to his stick and fired a wrister.

To be fair, he practically had a wide open net and I think most anybody would score on that one. All he had to do was make sure the puck didn't get past him.

And he's doing it on the third line, I would love to see what would happen if Arniel would use him in the top 6 with Schroeder.

Well he'll fit right in with Kesler with his cocky attitude. It's a fine line between confident and cocky. As a Canuck fan I hope he rides the line closer to confident then cocky.

But realastically for a professional athlete in a major market being cocky and confident can be a blessing. Me first goal scorer's attitude can find a happy healthy home in the right situation with the right linemates. I see Jensen as a real talent and hopefully these "problems" as a teammate are just youthfull cockyness that was not accepted on a mature team and he'll figure it out as he matures. Subban and Crosby come to mind as young guys coming into the league overly cocky and confident that had to go through a maturation phase to be respected as a teammate.
