WHY!? Why do sports leagues continue to not implement safety rules everyone knows they should but don't?
Why is there no mandatory visor rule for the NHL, these kids have to wear them in JRs, college, all the way up to the AHL/NHL so it's not like they aren't used to it?
Tired of sports leagues waiting for the catastrophic event before making rule changes instead of before the event.
Dale Earnhart would be alive if NASCAR used the HAN device as they where recommended they should have.
Jurior Seua and other NFL player might be alive if they had concussion rules and regulations in place.
Now Staal might be blind in an eye because of this again. It's disgusting, they know what they need to do to be safe but refuse to do it. You'd think they would almost go overboard in safety but instead they do barely enough to keep people from dying on their field and that's it.
I really wish ESPN would just not cover the NHL, at all, ever. I also don't understand why hockey fans (not referring to anyone in here) always get so butt hurt with ESPN and their hate towards the NHL. Seems they just want to be accepted by ESPN so bad, and it's such a crap channel these days, that I don't have a clue why they would even want that. That goes without mentioning what happened in the past, and their lack of rights to coverage. Just annoying if you ask me.
With that said, I will say that I LOVE NHL Network's coverage. They do such a great job of balancing highlights, airing games, live look-ins, etc.
