Habs Top 20 Prospects By The Fans #3

Carey Price wins a close Poll #2

Its a long way from the start of the season, so lets to a poll of the top 20 Montreal prospects. Each poll will be open for 2 days, but i may start the next one sooner if there is a clear cut winner of one poll.

Danis at 25 and Cote at 24 are becoming too old to be considered prospects.

1.) Andrei Kostitsyn
2.) Carey Price

I think Lats is gonna take this one in a walk. But we shall see. Chips got some votes in the last poll too.

That said I'm going Lats as he has more offensive potential, but Chips is the surer prospect to be an NHL player, IMO.

A pretty strong group of prospects considering there are no top 17 picks in that list.

This is a tough decision to make, but I'll take Latendresse slightly ahead of Chipchura. Too much upside!

Easy one. Lats by a mile. Has already looked great in camp last year. Way more upside. I'm having a tough time processing that some people still have Kostitsyn ahead of him. Price, maybe; but not Kost.

Next adds will be White, Korpikari, Heino-Lindberg, Valentenko, Cepek, Gleed, J.T. Wyman, Duncan Milroy.

As we go, unless there is someone else people want to see added?? Or is there someone you will be ready to vote for soon and want moved up to the front of that list.

Noted, we have a lot of polls to do, so i will add him to the end of my list.

Order is not a big issue because i doubt these guys will be beating out anyone in our top tier of prospects ie Chips, Lats, Fischer, Grabo, O'Byrne and Emielin those guys we talk about a lot

They will be fighting for spots at 10+ so the order added doesn't make too much of a difference.

If there is someone you would vote for immediately in the next poll let me know people and i will bump them to the front of the line.

I would have taken Chip instead of Price to be honest.

It's Chipchura by a mile. Not even close. He had a monster WJC and played well in Hamilton when he was there. He's the real deal.

you really like him do you? me too i choose Latendresse over captain Canada without disrespecting Chip's potential in the future, will be one,(if not the best), shut down center in the league one day, underrated off potential aswell, but Latendresse has superstar, top powerforward, potential in him as well

He's the real deal...he looked a bit shy in habs pre season games..

Wait, till' he shows his skills like in the past two rookie/developpement camps. From what I've seen, his skating looks ok now. Playing him in the Q, would be a waste imo.

Hello hab fans,

Just looking around and I came across this. How could Price drop to number 2? He is one of the best prospects in hockey.
