CM Punk respects the business enough to not bring Percy into this.
If he does I will lose alot of respect for him.

Taker and Punk are old school, they don't need to bring him into it, they are better than that

RIP to one of the greatest (if not THE greatest) WWE managers of all time.

Will be interesting to see how WWE uses this going forward.

One of my favorite Bearer moments was when he was backed into a corner, by I believe, Stone Cold and he was screaming at him "I'm not a wrestler!!!" while begging for mercy.

Apparently he had pulled out of a view Indy dates this month due to not feeling well.

One of (if not) greatest managers of all time.

He managed Undertaker,Vader,Mankind and Kane. All will be in the HOF soon.

The Kane-Undertaker feud of 1997-98 is one of my all time favorites. He made it awesome.

Favorite moment was on Raw in late 98 he was put down into a sewer by Kane and Austin.

Another would be at Over the Edge 98,Kane vs Vader(mask vs mask).Kane won, and Paul put on vader's mask and started dancing.

"It's time..it's time..it's Paul Bearer time".-Jerry Lawler.

Very sad to hear about this. It sounded like he and Taker were still close so I doubt Taker would okay bringing Paul Bearer into the WM build with Punk. I'd also think Punk has enough class to respect a very recent passing and not bring him up either.

The Taker/Kane angles in the late 90's were some of my favorite angles and Paul Bearer made them work so well. Gonna miss the guy.

Undertaker and Paul were still very close. Pretty sure they were best friends.

Two months before his death, long-time wrestling manager Paul Bearer (Bill Moody) talked candidly about missing his wife, who died of cancer four years ago, and wanting to re-unite with her.

I was married 30 years in this business," Bearer told PWTorch editor Wade Keller on the PWTorch Livecast in December 2012. "It takes a very special lady to be married to somebody in our business willing to put up with what they put up, that's willing to stay home and take care of the homefront, your children, and you when you're home."

Bearer continued: "I miss my wife dearly, and I always will. Tomorrow would be our 34th anniversary. I will take some roses out to her gravesite tomorrow. Ill tell her thank you, I miss you, Merry Christmas, and one day well be together again."

One of the great characters in wrestling history...a perfect role played by him and what a great duo he and Taker were for so long. The Undertaker persona is always different when he'd walk out by himself.

I wonder what this does for him and Wrestlemania. Any prayer Punk had of winning is probably completely snuffed out now. No way do they have Taker lose with this happening. Could you imagine Punk cutting a promo in light of this and have him earn more heat by talking bad against the memory of Paul? I wouldn't put it past them...

Well he already talked about Jerry's heart attack.
He is their walking pipe bomb.

"Heyyy Phil.... Soooo... Do you have any problems about talking about Bearer's passing? It's cool with everyone, cause it's really old school."

Except Jerry approved of it. Undertaker/Bearer were very close, and I can see Undertaker not approving it.

I don't think we can compare the two situations. While what happened to Jerry was very unfortunate, he was revived.. where as Paul is no longer with us, and obviously cannot object to it.
If Jerry hadn't have came back to life, I don't think they would have done it the way they did. I won't rule out that they wouldn't use it, I just don't think it would have been as harsh.

On the contrary, part of me thinks that this might give 'Taker the reason to end the streak.

I could see something along the lines of Paul (the character) was the one taking care of Undertaker all these years, keeping him as healthy as can be and allowing him to return. Now that he's no longer with us, it makes the Undertaker weak... weak enough to lose. Have Punk say something about Paul (don't go too far with it though) and turn the match into a casket match, or a buried alive match.. Have Punk win, "end" the Undertaker allowing him to be re-united with Paul in the after-life.

Mark finally gets to retire, and much deservedly so.. it could even set up a rivalry between Kane and Punk. Kane wanting revenge for what Punk did to his "brother", and it could ultimately end with Kane's character ending allowing Glenn to retire. Punk has the bragging rights that he ended the streak as well as retired the Undertaker and Kane.

Also, I hate using their actual names.. but I had too in order to differentiate between character and performer.
