And Culk, for all intents and purposes you're still the resident kid around here, soon-to-be-college or not. And that's not a criticism. Congrats on your college selection. If I could do it all over again I might've picked U of I, myself. Hindsight's always a *****.
I've never spent any significant time in Tampa myself. I do have a buddy who moved there about a year ago for work, and he loves it. He said if he isn't at work, he is drinking at the beach or at the Seminole Hard Rock casino. The one thing that he did say disappoints was the women. Not that it's a bad pool, but that he expected better for being on the beach and all that. While on the subject, there are few cities better than Atlanta for being single if you just want to shoot fish in a barrel.

Never in my life did I consider six hours to be deprivation, but that's just me. Just always had a lot going on.

By the time I got home around 1230 the alley looked like it was never even touched. So had to do that and the front one more time. Needless to say I'm glad I'm off today. My body needs it between the shift I had and then shoveling all that when I got home.

I'm definitely feeling a warmer locale.
I'm on vacation this week, but my brother tells me work has been an absolute gong show. I've never quite raged after working three sixteen hour shifts outside and checking facebook only to see all the statuses about how pretty the snow is. ****. THAT. NOISE.

6 hours is by no means deprivation. Anything 4 or under is to me though.

I don't care what the circumstances are, snow in Chicago in March is never pretty.

Especially when your Dad and stepmom live in Phoenix and are watching Cactus League baseball in sunny 80 degree weather every other day.

Yes, the Spanish have some very underrated wines.

While I love all the ingredients that go into a typical creole blend, I hate them as a combination, and obviously am not a fan of creole dishes either.

Congrats. My biggest regret about adolescence is not going away to college. Enjoy.

Yes, I love Facebook and all the statuses about how it's snowing/there's snow on the ground/we're about to get hit.

You forgot the Redneck Riviera, nicest beaches in the continental US.

Well, I function with six hours of sleep, but I often get home and take naps or just not do anything.

Hah, indeed I did. Haven't actually been myself. Not yet at least. The Gulf Shores are suppose to be awesome as well. I personally prefer an area like Charleston, or Savannah. Have some history, great food, plenty of stuff to do, but also have nice beaches not far away either. Charleston/Folly Beach are my favorite two to combine, by far. You can drink an entire night in Folly for under $20, tip included.

I used to go to bed around 3-4 am from 19-21 years old and wake up around now. I totally understand the need for sleep.

When I worked nights, anything more than four hours of sleep and I would be dragging at work. 2-4 hours was my norm. Working the long hours I did, I slept little until my first off day which is when I'd get home and knock out for 12+ hours.

Tell me about it! I went out in the intermission to pick up some food yesterday and every place by my house was closed and this was at 8:15! What's up with that? Why do people just shut down their business because it snowed? Hate money I guess! I feel like if I had the startup capital, I would be John D. Rockefeller all over again, and while I like my ideas as I am sure everyone does, the main factor in me thinking that are the brain dead morons who can't even keep the ****ing door open to their store or answer the phone when someone is calling.

Meh on the Spanish. Who doesn't love Italian?

Destin and Ft Walton Beach are absolutely gorgeous. Lots of good seafood as well. I understand there is a lot of good golfing there as well but that isn't my thing.

I'd like to do a Savannah/Brunswick Island trip, not sure if that is in the cards anytime soon.

I don't think a lot of people have had good, true Spanish cooking. It's incredible, but difficult to find.

I've got a 24 hour kitchen at the end of the block that sells take home liquor from 7am - midnight and the bar is open until 2 am. A skeleton staff making minimum wage can't cost much in terms of operating costs and lords know me and my friends/girl have pumped hundreds of dollars into that place when drunk at 3am and craving a BLT.

Yeah, that's part of what I am talking about, later hours for all businesses is a no brainer. You're paying all the cost anyway, ****ing use the place.

Guilty. I like and have had great Polenta, but I'm just not a big wine guy. I'd much rather a cold beer or a jack and coke.
