Looks like we got rid of some pretty mediocre players over the past 2 years.

Who would you take back?

I'm pretty impressed by Glen Metropolits stats!

Metro is a superstar.

Out of that list, probably take O'B as a 6th D and Lapierre for the 4th line.

Dominic Moore has not played this season, stats are for 2011-2012 with the sharks (traded from the lightnings)

His wife passed away recently

I think Pouliot would benefit from the new culture here. He has decent size and high skill, was a 4th round pick. Only 26 to boot.

I would also take OByrne as a 6th d, and Lapierre for our bottom 6.

oh. also. BREAKING NEWS I'd take Ryan McDonagh back

seen him when he played with my Sudbury Wolves a lot, he does have a lot of skill. But consistency is where he always struggled. Maybe Boucher has found a way for him to focus his play a bit more, no way in hell Martin would have been able to do that with his coaching style.

problem with most of them is that they weren't good enough to be legit top 6 forwards, but are useless in a bottom 6 role.

Why isn't Metropolit playing in North America? Anyone know...
His numbers are good, I remeber he was a pretty strong player for us too.

Personally I liked Nigel Dawes.. He wasn't really given a decent chance with us or in the NHL in general. He was always really confident saying he's pretty sure he can score a goal on every 2 shot's and things like that.

EDIT: and how does Andrei Kostitsyn have 82 penalty minutes in 44 games lol.

One thing remains though. McDonagh excluded, none of the guys we gave away are core players on a winning team on the long-term going forward. On that aspect, it's definitely not as bad as some make it out to be.

Cammalleri was always talented and gave us a great run. Didn't work out towards the end but glad to see his numbers back to his old standards.

He is playing centre in Calgary. Better fit for him at this stage of his carreer and with his size.

His skill level is painfully obvious.

Oh, and yes Cammalleri was frustrating at times, but he'll go down as one of my favorite Habs over the past 10 years. So many memories from his short time with the team.

I agree he made alot of memories...

But he kind of turned into a whining baby towards the end.

I was glad to see him go

Is he beeing a goon??? I guess he'd have to be with that many penalty minutes. Can anyone confirm this?

Ribeiro, Koivu, Kovalev?
First one seems to have a good season.

Team sucked and Cunnyworth was a terrible coach. I'd have complained too.

I was a bit kidding about AK, but he certainly being targeted by the other teams, having been a NHL 1st round pick and a NHL player for a good chunk of his carreer. He must also be one of the best paid players in Russia. But AK was (not always) playing quite physically with the Habs.

You look at that list and it really underscores how inept management has been here in Montreal for the last decade and a half.
