Anaheim is playing Phoenix for the third consecutive time tonight. First time I remember seeing this, but my memory isn't all that great.

Oh man Ottawa's player just got knocked out by Mclaren. He can't even get to the locker room with help.

Steckel hasn't recorded a shot on goal in 12 straight games.

Also great that he missed that empty net from 20 feet away...

Reemer with an assist. The goal probably bounced 93 times before it found the net.

They put up a list of active streaks. Steve Mac and Trevor Gilles were listed. Haha

Listened to Pierre's pregame interview with Landeskog, where while wrapping up, he cut off Doc to say that Gabe's one of the best captains in the league.

I'd pay good money to find out who Pierre considers to be a poor captain...kid's played a whopping 10 games with the C on his chest, and he's already in Pierre's upper tier.

Probably OT?

Guys, is anyone from local Flyers fans from Florida? I'm going to Miami for spring break and I'm thinking about attending a Panthers game - they play the Canadiens on sunday and the Lightning on tuesday. Do you think there'll be better atmosphere for a traditional team (Habs) or for a local "rivalry"? Considering Cats attendance numbers there'll be probably little to no difference (I guess) but... Checking to make sure.

Thanks

(and if that's completely wrong thread - my apologies to mods and throw me out through the window)

The Panthers don't play in Miami. If you want to go to a Panthers game you will have to somehow travel a few hours north to Sunrise, FL where they play now. The closest airport to Sunrise is probably Fort. Lauderdale Int'l airport, I am not sure about that though. FL is not really a hockey state. Most sports fans there are fair weather ones I hear. I doubt the atmosphere at any Panther games will be good.

Don't worry, I know they're in Sunrise. We (me and my friends) just figured it'd be much easier to go to Sunrise than to go to Tampa. (We're renting a car to go to Miami so it'll be much easier to get to Sunrise)
But seriously, the last sentence is exactly why I came here - because I'm not really sure whether there'd be any difference between Habs and Bolts game

I can say with personal knowledge, Sunrise is no where near a few hours north. It's rather close and a very easy drive from Fort Lauderdale though. I've gone to several Panthers games over the past few years.

Ah, okay then. You know where you are going then. I remember the Flyers game earlier this year against the Panthers. At least half the crowd were Flyer fans. When we scored a goal there were loud cheers for our team. I can't say the same for when other teams play the Panthers, but I can imagine half the stadium would be empty.

Wow, Bolland on the Toews goal is a dick of dicks. That should of been an easy penalty.
