If we could have traded for Clowe like three or four years ago, that would have been the ideal scenario...

Anyway, i would still take him on my team.

Well yeah if MB can dump a few contracts and the return is a rental he's probably going to do it so there is no argument there.

If the speculations are true you may not see him give picks or prospects for a rental at the deadline. If he does it will be for a guy that is signed and will be with the team for more than 2 months. But if he can let's say trade Kaberle for Clowe he's probably going to do it (i know it wouldn't happen but it's just an exemple).

Then again i'm not MB. I just speculate with what i've heard from a few sources.

Give me Chris Stewart, Ryane Clowe or Zach Kassian. The three of them would be great.

Or we can get back our old home grown giants, O'Burned or Komisa-wreck
Always liked O'Brien but i've heard that he has slowed down over the years.

Nick Foligno on this team would be interesting for the bottom six. Chris Stewart interests me more than Ryan Clowe.

Zack Kassian. He could be exactly what we need for years to come against Boston and Lucic

I'm surprised at the love Chris Stewart is getting. The guy is a headcase and while he can fight he's more of a look after himself first guy than a great team player.

Clowe on the other hand would fit in wonderfully. Sure he's not scoring this year, but he's averaged 20 goals and 50 odd points each of the last 4 years...he's a great fighter and a great team player.

He's a bit of a headcase. He's been in the dog house with both the Avs and Blues.

Stewart? I'd rather have Toews.

Am I doing it right?

He's a bit of a head case for sure but he's a great team player. I've seen him more than once drop 'em for one of his teamates.

Flip Ryder for the best pick possible, same with Gionta(give the C to Pacioretty),sign Collberg to pro contract and call him up,let Dumont play.

He's loved by his teamtes and coaches in Bluesland this season. And Clowe also is a bit of a headcase he took some stupid penalties all year. I mean if those guys are available it's because you have to deal with some weakness, everybody in the league are looking for this type of players.

Stewart is a guy who can take on almost every heavyweight in the league and win, and he would our second most effective winger after Patch, he's quite a goal scorer. He's 25 he still have room to grow, he didn't have quite a developemental path like other players, he only started playing serious hockey at 16, he was rushed a bit to the NHL. So he had bad habits, i know it's only 20 games in the season but he looks like a completly different player this year.

If you can have him in a fair trade you just do it.

The Canucks gave up their top prospect for him (Cody Hodgson). Not going to happen.
