What happened was Lydman was caught way up in the offensive zone...Fowler was the only man back...he got beat 2 on 1...and if Getzlaf hadn't been backchecking it would've been a goal

This. He doesn't have the speed anymore to just flash to a break away all by his own, he needs decent play making line mates to get good scoring chances.
