Biggest surprise in the 2013 top 10 draft ranking, is Robert Hagg at 8TH overall, over Rasmus Ristolainen.

and antilla played with the reinhart's nearly every game last year.

not saying i'm totally disagreeing with you here, just that the chemistry the last 35 or so games is alot more prevalent than before.

I got The Hockey News: Future Watch 2013 in my mail today along with The Rookie Issue (Volume 66, Number 20), so those in Ontario should have it by tomorrow, or at the very latest, Monday.

I've heard the top 5 in the Future Watch are

Tarasenko
Schultz
Kuznetsov
Hamilton
Yakupov

Anyone know who's 6-10?

Dougie Hamilton on the cover.

Top 10 prospects:

1. Vladimir Tarasenko
2. Justin Schultz
3. Evgeni Kuznetsov
4. Dougie Hamilton
5. Nail Yakupov
6. Alex Galchenyuk
7. Mikael Granlund
8. Johnathan Huberdeau
9. Ryan Murray
10. Jacob Trouba

Just a reminder, we have to be careful with the posting of information, as it is copyrighted. So, please don't ask for so and so's top 10, or the top 50 prospects etc.. If you're interested, I'd recommend picking up a copy, or buying it digitally..it's only a few bucks.

I like Gibson but to be ahead of Lehner who has accomplished so much more at a higher level is purely laughable.

Has anyone seen this on any retail shelves yet? Really late in the year to not have seen it, and I've looked in MANY places.

Usually with the Future Watch, there seems to be a slight biased towards WJC participants since THN typically polls the scouts/execs right after the tournament ends. Plus the list itself is a composite of 15 different opinions. There's hardly a consensus about anything. Off the top of my head, I think one of the respondents ranked Gibson as his #1 prospect over Tarasenko/Yakupov/etc.

It's a fun issue for bragging rights, but I wouldn't be up in arms debating over somebody ranked #11 versus being ranked #24. In either case, you got yourself a solid prospect.

Amazing that 7 of those have already suited up for the Wild this season. And with the exception of Lucia, Dumba & Bussieres, I fully expect the other 7 to be regular roster members of the Wild by the 2014-2015 season.

Stopped in a local Barnes and Noble here in NJ and they looked it up and said that it is supposed to be on sale tomorrow 3/19. I asked if I could get a copy now and the clerk looked in the back but said there were just boxes of magazines but they weren't unpacked yet. So, I'm guessing they should hit the shelves Tuesday or Wednesday.

I find it weird that Brett Connolly was ineligible last year, but is ranked this year...
