I believe the Super 8 was created with basically that purpose. Publics still have the D1 tournament to win.

The D3 south tournament is the hardest title to win in all of high school sports with the shear number of games you must win to be crowned champion. In total teams could potentially have to win 7 playoff games to be crowned D3 Champion if you come out of the South. Scituate and Pembroke always have strong D3 hockey programs due to their size of school. Both Scituate and Pembroke will be moving up to D2 next year and thats long overdue.

The games tonight have been pushed back to tomorrow. I will be at the Central Catholic vs. St. John's Prep game at 7:45.

We were D2 when I was in Scituate.
