I think Price has a shutout tonight.

Something with his leg. He got back in the lineup last week but only made it through half the game before reinjuring himself. Luckily we've managed to develop some decent depth and Faulk is really stepping up as a good #1.

I think this will be a tight one. Matchups are going to be interesting and seeing as how we won't be fielding half an AHL team this time, it should be a good measuring stick for both squads.

Really looking forward to it. Good luck!

Not feeling it either. Canes are playing very well right now. Our D and penalty kill has been atrocious lately. Habs need to go back to playing the way they did against Sens and Leafs. Anytime you hope your goalie steals a win, you're in trouble.

We need a great start and get Ellis to **** his pants

Every time we play Carolina I just have this image of Staal killing us. Since the 2006 playoffs he has killed us over and over

It really ticks me off how we can't seem to contain key players. Vanek, Staal, Tavares. We used to be able to shut down Crosby with PK and Gorges and last game he was just skating with no coverage whatsoever.

Let's not become delusional with the 1st place. There are big holes on the team still and the penalty kill and faceoffs are the most glaring weaknesses.

If you look at the calendar, this game is very important. We can't hope to repeat the past trip to Florida and four straight losses would send us tumbling down to the middle of the pack.

Honestly, 2 out of 4 points is the starting point in Florida. I think 3 is quite manageable, and 4 points isn't THAT hard. The Panthers are horrible, in every aspect of their game, and Tampa Bay's goaltending and D is bad.

Personally, in those last three games of the road trip, I'd be ok with 4 out of 6 points, and my happiness starts at 5. Habs are for real, and with solid goaltending by Price and Budaj, just solid, not out of the top a la Bishop against us, we should get 4 points.

By the way, when are Diaz and Bourque coming back? Taking an effin' long time for them to recover.

Bourque was on the LTIR, and MAGodin just noticed that Diaz is now on the list.

Can you post the rules to the drinking game again? I'll play it with my buddy tonight.

We could ask the mods to edit it into the OP so everyone could play along, I'll be the shot-master.

I will record the game tonight because I have a feeling that Armstrong will throw a hit tonight. I will finally have a piece of habs history in my hands
