All Zip is saying is that Ron Wilson used to coach the Maple Leafs, and Ron Rolston is the current Sabres coach. You messed up a detail a la Rob Ray during a broadcast.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no fool (well, at least in this matter...or then again, maybe I am ). I know that losing could net us a VERY good player in Jones, MacKinnon, Drouin, Barkov, Lindholm, etc...

Having said that, how can you actively root for your team to lose? It hurts me inside to do that.

I'm of the mindset that wins are great and enjoyable, and losses aren't the end of the world due to the possible result of landing a great prospect. For me, it's gravy at this point.

And yes, I realize all fans are different. And no, I don't question your fanhood if you want the team to lose. I just don't comprehend how anyone could actually cheer for their team to lose. *shrug*
because rooting for them to lose, is rooting for them to win

Yep, just like how I will root for the Bills to lose out once they are eliminated from having any hopes of playoffs. I was certainly cheering for the Jets to win the last game of the season against us.

It's been typical of both Buffalo teams for the past while now to not be good enough to be a contender, and not be bad enough to get a top pick - and then we are just stuck being completely mediocre since neither teams have smart front offices to make up for it.

Anyways, Scott with Grigs and Staff? I don't see how that line could possibly be productive. Why not flop Foligno and Scott? Whatever, Enroth is in were gonna lose anyways so I guess its a good thing

Google image search, "Enroth 5 hole" came up with that.

Considering he talked about "Steve Nash" scoring a powerplay goal, I'd say he gets it.

Devils fans will be pissed that Miller isn't starting. I'm keeping a keen eye on their boards.

It's a shame that Kaleta can't be in the lineup to make Kovalchuk act like a teenage girl again.

So a shootout loss?

Whenever Enroth actually has a good game, the offense fails to show up and we lose 2-1 or something like that.

Honestly, he is.

I suspect that we'll see Vanek and/or Foligno double shift onto that line in Scott's place for a good portion of the game.

Grigorenko's ice time has increased in each of the past four games.

With Hecht out and Scott in, does that trend continue?

I wouldn't be against seeing Vanek double-shifting on Grigo's wing.

If it will be anyone it will be Gerbe or Foligno. Vanek is still hurt, if I'm Rolston I'm not taking any unnecessary chances.

Also, I love Hechts comment...of lack thereof...to the Buffalo News. "No Comment, Talk to the guys who are playing"

I'm thinking his roster spot goes bye bye when Leino's back.

Probably cant double up on Vaneks icetime. I would hazard a guess that he is still a bit dinged up. I like Grigs progress lately so I would like to see them rotate someone with a bit of offensive acumen on his line and keep him working on being more confident.

I think, while he has other problems to work on, Grigs confidence is his biggest hurdle at the moment. He seems tentative with and without the puck. He waits for the play to come to him rather than initiate. Lately he has started to be more active and aggressive. I hope that trend continues. Need to remember that he is uber-talented.
