Saad - Toews - Hossa
Morin - Bolland - Kane
Bickell - Lebron Michael Usain Bolt Phelps James - Stalberg
Carcillo - Mayers - Frolik

Much better. Wait, faceoffs.

If Stalberg can play the other side, I'd switch him with Frolik.

I really hope I never hear the words, " I have a bad feeling about this game, period, shift etc... It's getting real old. Theyre going to lose sooner or later. Deal with it

lebron James is a way better athlete than Phelps or bolt. bball players have to run, jump and have superb hand eye coordination. all Phelps does is swim(he's not even worth talking about in the conversation of best athlete) and all bolt does is run.

who the hell cares about those 3?

We were down 2 players and dressed 7 D and still were able to win the game with 1 minute left.
Seeing Toews scoring the SHG was great. Reminded me of his 1st career goal. Was a game against the Avs too

It might be the alcohol fogging my memory, but I'm pretty sure I watched Toews first goal live against the Sharks. He stripped the defender and then buried a snapshot with a guy draped all over him.

you are right. He scored in his 1st game against the Sharks. May have been his 1st shot too.

I'm proudly wearing my Blackhawk toque today.

This was probably Sharp’s best game this season but it looked to me like he may have separated his shoulder on that play. Toews, leads the way while Stalberg and Seabrook also had strong games. Glad to see Seabs throw a few out there and he continues to be effective by getting involved offensively, and it looks to me like VS is not only the fastest guy in the league with the puck but his quickness is much better and very apparent now. After a rather auspicious start to the season, lately he’s been consistently getting to pucks before ops players and is playing much better in traffic and along the boards. Stan needs to extend him ASAP.

All in all, a very satisfying TEAM win.

I'd much rather call up any one of Jayes/Morin/Pirri/Smith than see Carcillo back in the top six.

It was on his first shot ever. Picked a top corner if I remember correctly.

The Avs goal was that highlight reel goal where he went from his own zone through three or four Avs players and scored, almost end-to-end. What's funny is the only tv highlight I've ever seen of it was the Avs broadcast because that was before games got put in tv. Seems like a lifetime ago. The Avs broadcasters creamed themselves over that goal.

Yup, at least they did it justice.

IIRC, one guy said something like "That kind of talent can bring a franchise back from the dead."

He was right.

I loved all the comments in the GDT (the serious, not sarcastic ones) like "how can you guys not see this loss coming" or "we're going to lose this game" or "we won't score another goal on Varlamov". Have you people not watched any Blackhawks games this year? Have a little faith. We're down by 1 with over a period to play and are outshooting our opponent.

Call me crazy, but I'd say the most decorated Olympian ever is definitely in the discussion for best athlete in the world.

Yeah, one of the reasons I don't post in GDT's a lot. The people I was watching the game with and I had no doubts we would win.

No man, all he does is swim. That's totally not an athletic skill that requires a lifetime of dedication in order to compete at the highest levels.
