I'm not expecting you to link me to fourteen quotes, but I highly doubt anyone has said this beyond one or two absurdly out-there posters.

Who has said that Hecht and or Stafford look "good"? Let alone because of Grigs? They might look better than they have recently, but still not good. And it obviously has nothing to do with Grigorenko.

Note: OP Additions - A/V

3.07 Peter DeBoer speaks with the media following New Jersey's morning skate. <4:28>

3.07 Ron Rolston speaks with the media following Buffalo's morning skate. <6:08>

***

BUF: Scott in, Hecht out; Brennan remains paired with Weber; Enroth to start in goal (I think DiPietro is one of the few goalies statistically worse than Enroth right now).

NJD: Stefan Matteau in; Anton Volchenkov and Peter Harrold replace Mark Fayne and Adam Larsson on the blue line; Johan Hedberg to start.

I dont he is lucky to have a contract this year and at a million to boot. If you dont perform you should be sat, unfortunatly u cant bench everyone. Hecht number is up, suck it up or ask for a trade.

Hey guys, here's to a good one! The Miller stuff is all in good fun after chirping Henrique, it's just ironic he's out. In all honestly, he's my second favorite goalie in the league to Marty.

Good luck the rest of the way, am pulling for you guys to make a run back into the playoff hunt but not at our expense.

It's hard to say he's not performing when he has the 3rd best GA/60 (behind Kaleta and Ott) and the 2nd best GF% on the team (behind Ott). If that's not what he was brought in to do (prevent goals), let me know and I'll apologize.

Gonna be a good game I suppose, will be watching like any other Sabres game yes.

Hopefully Enroth will somehow pull magic out of his rear and save some pucks and win

JOCHEN HECHT IS A LOCKER ROOM CANCER - Buffalo Sabres 12/13

I can't help but laugh at the thought of Jochen Hecht being what's wrong with the team. One basement-dwelling season and fans go absolutely insane

He isnt the problem but he sure isnt the solution. And scott isnt the answer but if he has a good bout and can spark the team its better than a off wing weak backhand that ruins momentum. I think the guy is lucky to be back with buffalo... just my 2 cents

Well, Enroth is starting.

Buffalo needs to keep the puck out of their zone for this game. Enroth hasn't even been decent the last few times the Sabres have started him. The games against Montreal, Ottawa and the end of last season. NJ is looking for revenge, NJ fans are still p***ed off about "Miller trash talking Henrique" last game.

Not a big fan of lines 3 and 4 right now.
I think we'll see this for the Philly game, assuming no other injuries:

Vanek-Hodgson-Pominville
Ott-Ennis-Gerbe
Leino-Grigorenko-Stafford
Foligno-Porter-Flynn

And I'd be fine with that.
Stafford playing with Scott on the fourth line? Come on, man.

You lost me at equating fights and backhands to "momentum". I'd rather keep the guy in that, coincidence or not, has been on a line with Grigerenko when he's looked like an NHL player. When Lindy was coaching, he was an idiot for putting Scott on a line with Grigerenko. Now RR does it and people are making it seem like that's not the case. Hypocrisy.

First it was Gaustad, then Roy, and now Hecht and Stafford
Once we trade them all, then we'll be good, right? Addition by subtraction?
