Hey guys, I just moved into the city a couple months ago (I live on like the Center City/South Philly border I guess...it's hard to pinpoint, but it's basically near where Broad meets South to give you a visual). Any recommendations for hockey-friendly bars near me? I'm not a Flyers fan (sorry), so I'm not just talking Flyers games. But is there a place where I can have a beer and watch a selection of NHL contests on a Saturday night (or Tuesday for that matter)? Thanks.

I highly recommend the "Sports Bar Finder" app from DirecTV.. You can filter for NHL (center ice).. I use that when I'm visiting the gf in south jersey
I come not as a visiting NHL fan seeing the Devils but as a visiting Sporting Kansas City fan seeing First Kick against the Union. Was just wondering about the details of the Tim Hortons that is/was in Xfinity Live. Still there? Need to get my Timmy's fix if possible, been too long.
Thanks for the guide guys. I am heading to Philly for work over the 7th of March. Getting my ticket to the game and will someone make my way around the city. Can't wait to see how rowdy ya'll are against Pitt
Anyone know a good place to get coffee/breakfast on a Sunday morning that will actually be somewhat quiet? I'm trying to set a date, and Cafe Lift and Sabrina's are always mobbed on weekend mornings.
Im also a goalie and I would like to look at goalie gear but wouldnt purchase any...
The Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ (The Practice Facility) had an equipment sale during training camp and had some stuff. They had some sticks, gloves, and pants. Whether they're still there i'm not 100% certain. They also had goalie gear, ranging from Johan Backlund's pads to Bryzgalov's.
I'm coming to Philly this Thursday thru Saturday. I'm staying at the Westin downtown on 17th Street and 99th, as we got a good deal on the hotel. However, the parking through valet is $51 a night. I realize people won't have exact prices or locations known off the top of their head, but would anyone know what would be a good fare for downtown Philly (granted one night is a business day) because $51 dollars seems pretty steep.

Until someone gives you more precise experiences, see if this list is of help:

There's a 99th now? Yeah, that rate does seem crappy. There's a public garage right next door to the hotel that should be like $30 something for 24 hours.
My hopes for going to Fallingwater were quashed after finding out they're not open until *next* week, so anyone know of anything fun to do along I-70/I-76 between Pittsburgh and Philly? I'd like to break up the long trip if I can.
Hey guys, here for the weekend, wondering if there's a hockey bar with center ice that'll play all the games, even if without sound. Trying to catch the Ranger-Penguin game tomorrow.
