Not going to break down individual grades but as a team, the Hawks continue to set records and as a team can there be any grade higher than an A? Maybe a new letter should be added but Im not quite sure what that would be. 'S'? Old school for 'superior'. Maybe now used as 'steamroller' b/c thats what the Hawks are doing to the league right now.

Consider this. The Hawks current win streak is 11 games. Incredible on its own. 11 wins currently bests 12 other teams TOTAL wins. Ties another 9 and 2 teams have only 1 more win at 12.

Mind boggling and loving it.

That Mayers is getting a C for successfully playing his boring role in a boring way shows just how much everyone else in the bottom six has exceeded expectations.

It's not like people are slamming the guy but his play this year has been average at best. There is nothing wrong with that.

Saying the game has passed him by is hardly a compliment

The first 50-60 games last year, we were seeing a near prime Mayers and were lucky to get it. That is highly unlikely to come back. The player we have is still serviceable though.

Everyone gets an A from me except maybe Sharp and Fro.
Hossa's still the best player on the ice imo. A beast in all areas. Met him and a bunch of the other players right after they won the cup. Hossa was the only one I felt like a little girl around.. Got all dumb and couldn't talk. haha Love him
And he looks as good if not better post injury. Still dont think Kane is playing at 100%. He's close. Still think he has more in him though. Not a complaint, he's still one of the best in the game.

Most improved player??

Obviously Crawford & Emery...

But the improved play of guys like Kruger, Leddy, Hammer has been the key to this team's success.

Hell yeah, no more trying to get too cute and carry it out or throw a bank pass off the boards. When the puck hits someones stick, off into the air and lauched down ice, love it, simple, smart and effective.
