Killorn begs to differ.

So either Hall is injured or Boucher is seeing something bad in his game that I don't.
I wouldn't say it's either, Boucher is just going with the guys that are better. Doesn't mean Hall is playing any worse.

While Im not surprised by the lines, I was honestly hoping for them too stay the same as the last game. The third line with Connacher makes it deadly, but without it it is mearly meh. Any line with Stamkos is deadly, so I didnt mind seeing Pyatt up there, even if he isnt a first liner by any means.

Ian White's future with Detroit appears to be in doubt.

http://www.freep.com/article/2013030...yssey=nav|head

We've mentioned him before talking about potential defensemen, could he find a role in TB? Pending UFA, right shot.

Jets will be looking for revenge for what happened last time. (Meaning the score not any incident) would love for Killorn and Conacher to have big nights ... And of course Stammer too. In fact big nights for everyone. Even Lindback, Goal + 2a.

After extensively watching him while he was in Toronto, I'd say he'd be a good gamble. Solid third pairing defenseman who works his socks off, is good at both ends of the ice and has a hard, accurate shot. He could really help to stabilize that third pairing and fill in on the second pairing in case of injuries to our top 4.

We should beat them and finally have some momentum, so I say bring 'em on. Can't wait for the FF victory themes post-game .

I think Boucher just likes what he sees out of the other guys. Labrie and Crombeen have been playing some of their best hockey lately.

Fine by me. I think White would be a good fit.

Always liked Whitey. He's a lot better than half of the ones we have, only issue might be is he is a UFA at the end of the year as you stated.

But my perfect lines right now would look like this (with Malone):

Conacher/Stamkos/Purcell
Killorn/Lecavalier/St.Louis
Malone/Pyatt/Palat
Crombeen/Thompson/Labrie

But most likely Palat will return to Syracuse, when Pouliot is healthy.
I agree that Palat will go back to Syracuse, not cause he hasn't played well. I just think it's better for his development to play more minutes down there and go on another long playoff run. Plus the Crunch haven't been the same without him. Next years camp is going to be insane with the amount of prospects pushing for a roster spot.

I say keep him up if he continues to perform like he has. Break in some rookies this year, give them the experience in a year we are not Stanley Cup contenders. We keep saying next year but how many rookies can you break in at once ? Conacher, Killorn, and Palat look like they have been here a while, it isn't one of these three that have been coughing up the puck regularly.

Bugsy:
Quote:
“It feels good,” Malone said. “I think we just took our time with it and went through the rehab properly. So, it feels good, and I’m excited to get back for a big game.” (...) “I’m fully healed and ready.”
Vinny:
Quote:
Captain Vinny Lecavalier’s production has fallen off recently, but it coincides with his left foot injury, sustained Feb. 2, when he took a slap shot from teammate Sami Salo flush off the left foot. (...)

“It’s been tough for him,” Boucher said. “It affects his push-off, it affects his timing. Eventually, it’s his confidence. He was just trying to survive out there.”

But Lecavalier has shown signs of a rebound with three assists in his past two games. His two-point effort Tuesday at New Jersey was his best overall since his injury. “I definitely feel stronger now,” he said. “It feels better every day.”

Asked if a game or two off would have helped, Lecavalier said sitting out was never seriously considered, especially with the team struggling. “You want to be part of it,” he said. “You want to keep pushing through as a player. You ask any guys in this room. If the same thing happened, they would do the same thing. They want to keep playing and want to keep going.”

See I can respect Vinny for wanting to play, but I wonder how much more harm he did, both in terms of him healing and the team. Gotta wonder if the team wouldn't have been better served by benching him a game or two.

Is it safe to say Killorn has permanently made the team? Is this a dumb question?

Call me crazy (and I know it way early), but from what Ive seen so far (from his skill, smarts, hustle) he looks like he could be a future A/C for the team.

I would be shocked if he isn't up here permanently.

I'll be very surprised if he goes back.

Indifferent about Bugsy back in the lineup. I don't want him cutting back on Killorn or Palats minutes.

Killorn is up good. Even with Malone back and Pouliot coming back he's not losing his spot. Hall is a healthy scratch, Labrie has been scratched a few games, Palat will most likely go down. I don't see any way he would go down except if we miss the playoffs and we send him to play in the AHL playoffs.
