Matt Carle almost picked up an assist... for the Jets.

If Lindback didn't have a tendency to let in 1 softie per game, I would understand why he'd be pissed off.

Realignment has been approved, we are somehow in the Northeast. We get to see a lot more northerners at our home games. At least we get to play Detroit more.

I'd like to see the Bolts take the body more.
Labrie seems to be the only one who finishes checks on a regular basis...everyone else continues to stick-check and the Jets are just skating through that junk.

Fourth line hasn't been nearly as effective as past couple games so far.

the Pyatt/Labrie line? i thought the past two games they have been throwing their weight around since he got back from Syracuse. Could have scored a couple in Pitt

I didn't realize there was a realignment thread and I didn't know we are in the Central? That makes no sense, didn't realize how much pull Detroit has that they not only came to the east the brought their division name with them.

Honestly, this can only HELP the Lightning.

Being in a division with Detroit, Boston, the Leafs and Canadiens will force this team to be more discerning and think bigger when it comes to evaluating, drafting, and developing talent.

No longer will they just have to worry about what teams like Washington, Carolina and Winnipeg are doing...now they have to worry about the big players, and any slacking in the development department will be readily exposed.

The Bolts ownership and front office, I am sure, are well aware of this, and welcome the challenge as they construct their Stanley Cup contender.

Not sure why Lee fired a 55mph wrister at Stamkos from 6' away, but he did.

Yeah and they were effective in those games...first two shifts tonight and they weren't hitting and were pinned in our own end.

I'm pretty sure we aren't slacking in those departments because we're in the Southeast.
We shouldn't change our style because of the big bad bruins.
