Would love to bring him back, we're missing his faceoff ability and he's not a horrible player.

The Senators didn't lose the game against toronto because Dzinklkazakastanlkalishnivkinski lost a staged fight in the first 30 seconds of the game, they lost because they don't have enough scoring punch and their goaltending had an off night.

They have a solid bottom 6, and I doubt they make a move to add 'toughness' unless they bring in a guy who can play, and not be a downgrade on one of their existing players.

He was playing in Binghamton a few years back. He had a one way AHL contract and then they decided to renegotiate it into a two-way contract. He had a contract set, they could have left it at that but they didn't. I remember seeing a lot of quotes from Tim Murray saying that he wanted to give him an shot in the NHL and was looking forward to see what he could do there.

Now they could not be looking for an enforcer, but if they are Yablonski would likely be considered. They don't have to give up any assets and he has a history with this organization.

Trevor Gillies and Jeremy Yablonski are by far the best free agent options. Both would also probably just beat the **** out of Cooke for the **** of it. They wouldn't even care if he didn't want to drop the gloves.

Cam Janssen is on waivers to recall back to NJ. Kassian and Hordichuk are down in the AHL this year.

What's with your obsession of Yablonski? That guy is a scrub, probably not even an ECHL level player.

I could see Murray making a play for Cal Clutterbuck. He only had 1 fight last year but he does play an aggressive style and is talented, so he is not a risk to put on the ice.

Not many free agent enforcers, he has a history with the organization and is an exciting player.

Brian Boyle and Stu Bickel for a conditional 7th. If they make the HOF.

Im sure there's others but not sure we want fighters or people who would actually be somewhat useful along with the toughness lol
I would pay a premium for a guy like Dorsett. He's an animal.

Wouldn't mind Parros either.

Otherwise I agree with most of the Ottawa fans in that this is just speculation by out of touch Toronto media types.

Is he even expected to play another game this year?

Dorsett would be sick. He can actually play third line minutes which is a huge plus.

I'd expect they'd go the trade route and trade Daugavins or Regin to a team that has a solid fighter that isn't being utilized. We have all these injuries anyway, I think we'd rather have basically any tough player in the lineup than Daugavins no? Konopka would be great because he's a player that would work with Paul's system. He could take faceoffs, play a bit of PK and fight.

Would much rather have a guy like Konopka right now than Daugavins. Not a major move by any means, it's not like we're losing offence or a player that is going to stay longterm.
