I think I just saw the worst "interference" call in history in this Pens-Flyers game. Wow.

This is what Nash was brought here to fix. We can't score against a pitiful defensive team.

The powerplay is regressing back to what it was to start the year. Not moving, not shooting, telegraphing all our passes. Got to be more aggressive.

Nash is at least noticeable and trying to do something.

And I guess you can say the same for Gaborik if just standing around is considered doing something.

Islanders fans on Twitter are saying this is their biggest period of hockey coming up in several seasons. That is extremely sad but does go a long way toward explaining what we have seen in this game so far.

We should trade Gaborik, Nash and Callahan because they can't score against the Islanders.

its coming...be patient this is Rangers hockey wear down the team during the first and second and then shove it down their throats in the 3rd. Plus nash only scores in the third and he looked better in the 2nd than the 1st

Nash and Cally try. Gabby stands around and doesn't even care. At least Richards admits he's in a slump and tries to get out of it.

The problem lies within the fact that this team cannot execute a competent rush up the ice.

Watching the Islanders carry the puck through the neutral zone and make passes that open up ice in the slot frustrates me beyond belief. Why can't the Rangers make plays like that? In the years I've watched this team, they've never been able to make plays like that. I couldn't even tell you why. Probably the lack of good passers on this team.

I'm counting on it. Gaborik's poor performance has nothing to do with Nash. Gabby is a streaky scorer, Nash is supposed to be the difference maker, the game breaker, with the amount we pay him and traded for him, I think he needs to score in a game like this.

Gabby scores when the team is playing well, we need Nash to score against the run of play.

If you look at Gabby's style of play, it looks like he never tries. Somehow he has managed to score 40+ goals in a season few times. He has always looked lazy. What's new? Now the pucks just don't go in to the net.

how many flubs have they had in this period? flub on passes, at the point, clearing the puck, shots... the team is disoriented from something.
