can't remember who scored this goal

Alright this may seem like a weird question, but, this goal popped into my head and I can't remember who or when it was.

1st skater had the puck brought it right to the left of the net went behind like he was gonna wrap around, but left the puck next to the post and the skater behind him scored.

I attached a pic to explain it haha. paint ftw. yellow and black line is 1st skater who left the puck, black line is the one who scored.

I feel like it was elias to gomez but I couldn't find anything on youtube.

And I think it was in either the 2000 or 2003 season because I remember watching it on a stanley cup season recap video.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section or if I used the wrong prefix, I've never posted here

Hmmm that might be it, thanks. But I think he left the puck instead of passing it. Guess I have to find my old tape somewhere and watch it.

Right after Marty commits grand larsony on Hull. This might be my favorite goal that's not Arnotts.

Scott Wedgewood and Keith Kinkaid are probably the two who are most widely considered to have NHL potential, but how much is uncertain. Kinkaid has been playing well in Albany but is very young and still developing. Wedgewood's had a bad start in the ECHL this season but has been playing much better lately and will likely get his first AHL start this weekend.

He's lost some of his speed this year but his all-around play has been great in the grand scheme of things.

Tedenby

Hi Devils fans. Need your help. Am in a keeper fantasy league with a deep minor league system. Looking for some info on Tedenby. Have looked at his stats (NHL/AHL) and read his HF bio.

Impression is an undersized forward (5-10) who's fast and highly skilled. If he makes it in the NHL, it has to be as a top 6 guy (at least if you're playing the odds).

Basically how's he doing, and how do things look to him making the show over the next 2-3 years?

He took a skate to the face a few weeks ago in the AHL, and hasn't been cleared to play since. He showed flashes in 2010-11, but hasn't done a thing since.

He's injured right now. Was cut from a skate from near his chin up to under his ear I think. Needed plastic surgery, and spent over a week in the hospital. It was during an Albany Devils game.

He spent 4 games with the NHL team this season. Spent the first half of last season with us before being demoted. I'd say if he's gonna make it here in the NHL then it likely won't be with the Devils. From what I've seen he's not exactly held in high regard by our head coach either.

He has no future with this team. Loads of skill, but is just way to small, and does not know how to play defense. He seems like a good guy, though.

Most of us expect him to go back to Sweden, or get traded within the next two years. I like the kid, but at this point I don't think he will stick with the Devils.

Thanks guys. Grabbed Rodin instead. Not sure either will really do much... but as minor pluses it should be okay.

Scott Stevens

Hey guys, Rangers fan coming in peace.

I'm sure most of you have seen this video but I thought I'd post it on your boards. As much as I have disliked the Devils through the years, I always loved Stevens and he is one of my all time favorite hockey players. I loved his game and thus I could tolerate the Devils a little more with him as their captain.

Well, believe it or not, my home team joined KHL today. Unreal. I'm so happy that I almost forgot Devils are not in playoffs again. Almost.
Anyway, scouting frenzy for NA players with croatian origin has started, and I keep reading that Zajac brothers are on that list. I'm pretty sure I've read something about TravTrav i.e. his family being from Poland or was it Ukraine ... Does anyone know?
It would be really fun to watch younger members of Zajac family in Zagreb though

Watching an old Devils playoff game on youtube. Panthers round 1 game 3. I am curious to watch because I was pretty young back then and didn't really pay attention to the details.

panthers at one point during the game were getting out shot 30-7.....and the devils pp didn't look too good. Good quote from Thorne & Clement "Panthers are a finesse team, they don't want to dump and chase"

Thorne: "The Devils take full advantage of that by dumping and forechecking the heck outta them"

Hey devils fans, I'm wondering if any of you would be willing to give me some insight on Zajac. I own him in a keeper league and of course I was very disappointed by his season this year, as I'm sure you all were. But I probably only got to take in 2 devils games this season so all I know is what the stats tell me. Has he lost a step as a result of the achilles injury? Were his numbers a product of having played with Parise? I have always thought that he is a player in his own right and while he had good chemistry with Parise he would find chemistry with his new linemates, but this past season is causing me some doubt.

I recognize that he might not be a 60+ player going forward, but surely you still expect 50-60 points out of him next season, no?

Parise definitely helped his numbers, no doubt about it. But there's still a chance Zajac finds chemistry with Kovalchuk like he did in 2011, so hope is not lost. He still skates well with the puck and is a beast along the boards. He just needs to play with linemates that don't go completely cold for 3 months at a time.

Depending on his linemates, 50+ points out of Zajac is definitely the expectation. If he can't be that player going forward, it should be a serious disappointment because he definitely has the skill to be that guy against top competition.
