I dont know alot about him but he is 20 and should play in the AHL or ECHL instead of going as an overager to juniors, Rangers liked him alot to take him. I cant remember the last time the Rangers took a overager the past few drafts.

Why doesn't anyone like Zaborsky? We just drafted him and he seems like he has the highest upside out of anyone left.

Tomas Zaborsky, RW
Drafted: Fifth Round (137th overall)
Height: 5'11, Weight: 180 lbs.
Birthdate: 11/14/87

A native of Slovakia, Zaborsky played for Trencin of the Slovakian Junior League in 2005-06. He recorded 49 goals and 27 assists with a +59 plus/minus and 20 PIM for the team during those games. A natural scorer, Zaborsky adds excellent defensive skills to great hands, wonderful on-ice vision and good hockey sense. Somewhat unknown in North America, Zaborsky was recently drafted No. 36 overall in the 2006 CHL Import Draft, and it is expected that he will play for the OHL Saginaw Spirit during the 2006-07 season.

Leslie seems to like him. Who else thinks Prucha when reading about this kid? I think we may get another late round steal with this kid just because he seems to be an unknown talent.

I dont think its a matter of liking, so much as he is still a very unknown quantity.

Talent is DEF. there and I am big fan of the talent, but it's still very unknown at this point.

This time next year who knows really. Some of these rankings can look pretty silly. As I said earlier you have a guy who is ranked outside the top 20 who could be a top 6 NHL forward.

I don't think any of us know what to do with Zaborsky. You hear snippets of tantalizing information, but the level of information on him right now is so limited.

Although it's certainly nice that a player with potential like Zaborsky, mystery that he is, isn't even in the top 30 right now.

There's just something about the way Sanguinetti looks in his website photo and several others that reminds me of a young Tony Amonte.

My thoughts exactly. Would've voted for him a lot earlier if I hadn't had to keep sticking up for the Fort.

add Flatt...I doubt he'll even get an honorable mention but then again, he's still one of our prospects.
