Gio would be a similiar trade, more logical/likely in the offseason
what if a trade for clowe (or someone similar) is made and a defenseman is needed and gionta can get one?

And even in his down season he's still better than Price this season ? Just saying.

But there's a carey price thread and I don't feel like getting into this again so I'm done here.

Good game by Price tonight.

It was a weak goal, but globally, Price had a great game. We have to give him his due, if we point his weak game.

This game doesn't erase his whole season, but we can hope he build on that and start a great streak of similar game. Those are the expectation the team have toward him, his contract is showing it. That how he has to play the majority of the times.

Pleks is flanked by tweedledee and tweedleshort and DD can't be relied upon for anything if it's on the road and we don't have last change.

I guess you haven't seen much of the game do you?

A freaking Junior player would be less shaky defensively and mentally than Weber tonight.

I don't understand people who say "Price never won a game for us". Price won at least 20 games per season in 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 single-handily

No they said he played bad tonight but nothing else. They said Eller had a great game but he's not the same every game. This screams '' I watch the score sheet and nothing else''

Don't bother..

They are easily swayed by Carey's boyish good looks, crisp, juvenile hairline, and puppy eyes.

I wouldn't say francophone, but they're the 450-crowd. The seas and seas of Halak jerseys gotta belong to someone, eh

After last year, all I'm hoping for is playoffs.

Looks good so far: http://www.sportsclubstats.com/NHL/E.../Montreal.html

A 8-13-3 ending is all we need.

I agree. Playing much better than the streak of games where he was the worst player on the team.

There is a 0% chance they trade the captain this season. (Maybe in the offseason)

Disagree all you want. The numbers don't support you.

He was great for us all year long and then hit a little slump. Maybe he'll suck for the rest of the year but for anyone to try to say he was anything but great until two games ago is just flat out wrong. He was a lead contender for the Vezina and then went into the ditch. If he plays like he has outside those two games for the rest of the year he'll be in the Vezina conversation for sure.

It just boggles my mind how people lose their **** when the guy has a slump.

Paccioretty has been crap the past couple of games, should we freak out on him too? Folks need to get a grip.

I'm not so sure. He was nismanaged, poorly coached, benched, made to play 4th line forward last season and has played less than 30 minutes all season. Total waste of an asset. Some may also recall that he had a terrific start last year.

He did trash him (yé invisible après un bon match), but he said he was playing better of late.

They concentrated on the bad, not the good.

Gauthier gave him props though.
