Price
Subban
Gorges
Prust
Eller
Emelin

All had great games. Emelin's mean streak is so important to our Dcore this year, he needs to keep that up. Eller, once again, is playing like a man and I love it. He's starting to realize he needs to get mean and rough against his opponents to gain respect and a reputation that he will not be pushed around. He did it against BOS and now against CAR and I couldn't be happier .

Gorges and Prust stepped up as leaders and heart and soul guys and while I won't expect that every game, it was great to see. Subban is just a rock. The guy can play crazy minutes, he's a physical, fast, athletic, smart player who really has no weakness other than growing pains with regards to consistency and self-control. That being said he's been fantastic and was one of our good players in the 2nd.

Price bounced back in a big way, and you can tell he is focused on winning. The guy is a absolute professional and he hates to lose. LOVE IT!

Jeff Skinner is a rat.

Also, does anyone have a YT of Emelin's big hits tonight? thanks!

A trade cross my mind also after seeing this, but i said to myself... no. No such things can happen again to this team.

exactly. One thing to say, damn, Price ain't playing so hot right now. Another to say "oh fkn Carey, same ****, always 3 bad games a year, so overrated, Jesus Price, blah blah, overpaid, can't trust him etc etc etc"

If you have to wait for 4-5 games a year to jump on and crap Price, then he's probably doing a good job for the majority of the time since you have to wait so long to get those opportunities.

I'm hating this habit of slipping on banana peels after a hot start. This team has a lot of character, but we have to stop playing with fire.

*I* always wait for Price to have a bad game to jump out and say I told you so?

Weird way to showcase him...barely played in the 1st then play him a bunch in the 2nd with the team sucking ass, then sit him most of the 3rd.

If that was the case they'd have probably sent him to Hamilton for a couple games conditionning.

He was out with a lower body injury after he let Eric Staal go on a breakaway

And seriously, have these guys NOT been watching Eller since pretty much the last ten games???

You guys overreacted at 2 bad games and took that opportunity to crap everything you've been holding in the previous 19 games on him. It wasnt just "oh price is not playing, but I'm sure he'll pick it up." Instead it was "see Price is so overrated, not elite goalie, overpaid, halak, blah blah" all that for 2 games.
The thread "Has Price stolen a game for us yet?" was created before the Pittsburgh game.

Where have I heard that before? Franzen would be an ideal winger for him. Long term contact, but a steal of a cap hit.

- Price was really good. Only reason the game was still there to win in the 3rd.

- There will be lots of Ryder bashing, but let's face it, he is NOT A LEFT WINGER. He's a right winger. Playing him on LW is a waste of everyone's time.

- The problem is that there are NO other solutions to this Ryder/Pleks line LW problem until Bourque is back with Chucky - Larry - Prusty being too productive to break up right now.

- Speaking of that line, WOW. Too bad Galchenyuk could not register a point that he deserved.

- Gorges is a boss, he tends to be very clutch with his points.

- Markov and Subban have no chemistry on the PP. Absolutely hilarious that was a legit feeling a few days ago. Just a devastating duo on the PP. The fun is just starting.

- The character this team has is something else. Every time we think the wheels are falling off they right the ship.
This sum it up perfectly. I might also add that Emelin restarted to hit more, which is always good.
