Makes more than anyone on the Bruins, and is going to demand far more than anyone on the Bruins.

Not to mention, probably costs more goals for his team than most on Bruins.

I don't want futures.

Signed Corey Perry and I'd be willing to pay on top of Kessel..

Kessel is actually like this everytime we face Boston. But I get what you mean by "one bad game and trade the guy". I'm pro- trading Kessel but for the right price.

I would trade Kessel for Jeff Carter.

How does Kessel equal the roster?

Might be a reaction from the OP, but there's been a thread going on all week about Kessel and he has not been viewed favourably despite playing reasonably well over that stretch. Don't act like the negativity revolving around Kessel is caused by one bad game, it's been around since he was acquired.

Trade him if we get a better player in return. Other wise no. No spare parts or prospects or collection of players.

I am a Kessel fan, so unless it's for a good top line player I say no.

Dude, that's they're usual answer. It's as if people don't read what people actually say regularly weather he has success or not.

I even predicted Kessel was going to have success yesterday before the game lol, because it's simple. Kessel who has 10x10 space = very useful, no space=softest player in NHL.

Why do people pretend to know how much a player is going to demand?

I doubt they can improve our roster currently by trading him so no. If you can get a signed Perry, sure. If you can get a couple prospects or role players, no. The Heatley for Hossa type deal is what is needed to move him and those arent that easy, or I think it would have already been done.

I'd say yes and not because of any one game. Have to look down the road and I don't think he'll be around either way. How eager must this guy be to hit UFA and out of the conference (or whatever we're going to call them next year)? He obviously hates playing Boston and I wouldn't be surprised to see him eager to get as far away from them as possible.

I just don't want to take the chance on him walking off. But in the end it's all about what's out there. I'd rather keep him and see how things go than move him for nothing.

Let me guess for picks and prospects? Ya thats what a top 10 team wants to be doing right now.... Unless you can get a signed Perry, or another star player you dont even consider it. No Kessel in the line-up tonight, Kadri is shadowed by Chara and the team is shutout. No one wants to acknowledge the cascade of events but people sure do like to overreact

All Kessel does is score goals and he is streaky as hell . Bruins fans warned the Leafs right from the get go. Now! Leafs are seeing his true value when your team is getting better.

Not necessarily. It would depend on what the return was. Kessel might fetch a good price and someone that could slide right onto that first line thus negating your Kadri theory.

MOD EDIT: Quoted post deleted

Honestly, I find these "fans" worse than rivals. I loathe them. Bruins fans are probably just eating a thread like this up. I know I would.
