Habs mid-season appreciation thread

We may not have the most talented team out there but there is really not much more I could ask for after what we went through last season. At the end it is all about team results and not individual stats.

I'm sure we will hit some darker days but with a great core of young players and serviceable vets, we can hopefully continue on this path of success.

Biggest surprise: Brendand Gallagher - Saw him at season start as yet another 3rd line smurf. Glad he proved me wrong.

Overall grade for the first half: A

Unfortunately if an outsider comes to our board he would think our team is in the bottom of the conference. From Price, to all of our defensemen without exception, to all of our forwards except the Gallys and Prust have been at some point heavily criticized.

I've been avoiding the PGTs in the past week.

I love our team, even Weber, Kaberle and Armstrong

Our blueline provides ridiculous offense... combined for 65 pts. Second best team is Pittsburgh with 59.

Markov-Subban =

I don't think I've ever been more wrong about a sports team. I honestly thought we were top 5 pick worthy entering the season and after the first game. LMAO.
