Nah not really.

Criminally under-rated though.

It's too bad it took Diaz getting injured to get Subban the ice time he deserves.

He's CLEARLY a top 4 defenseman.

Telling you guys.

If Subban keeps developing like we've seen him do; he'll be Captain and have his Jersey pulled.

The Diaz injury may go down as a major blessing in disguise, as much as it sucks to say that, but it's true.

Gorges-Subban is a MUST the rest of the season.

Is Bergevin convinced yet? Subban better be extended this summer. Don't **** around.

No doubt about it man, I think it would be very smart of MB to do it THIS summer. If he waits until into/after the next season, it's going to give PK another season to showcase and ultimately be able to ask for even more money

On the team? He's the best.

In terms of pairing? He's top pairing for sure.

In the league? Nah. Probably top 20.

I hope you don't think MT molded him into what he is right now ?

If anything the limited minutes were hindering him. We all told you that Subban was a stud and a surefire top dman in this league. Therrien has very little to do with this. It was all there and PK was taking good care of nurturing his talent with hard work outside the rink. He's a special athlete and it was plain for everyone to see.

and for the record I said "one of the best", not the best.

PK 7th among NHL defencemen in scoring with about 5 less games played then everyone else. Plus didnt see any pp time until after 4 games in.... PK will be top 5 in scoring for dmen for years to come.

6 M per year cap hit at the very least.

I'd do the 8 years max @ 6 M per and be very thankful.

Offence and defence, he is so strong and that slap shot is lethal. Good stuff.

I don't understand what you're trying to get at considering what you bolded from my post.

And THAT is why it made no sense to lowball him and insist on a bridge contract. We could have gotten him for 6-7 years at maybe 4.5M this season.
