Kruger is a joke.

Get rid of this goof. Hire a hockey coach, not a motivational speaker.

Yup just heard it on 630ched. This guy is a moron. I think he said something like this.

Ralph: We tried to get the 1-1 goal instead of continuing to play the great defense we were playing.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong. They were never in the lead to play defense to keep it

Krueger was not the right choice for an offensive team clearly. Great hire Tambo.

i think the problem with kreuger is that he treats the guys like kids instead of professionals, he talks to them like theyre in grade school. how do u go on to the ice with confidence with a mindset of thinking "im just a kid" and then look around at all of the huge men you play against?

Ralph Krueger = George Burnett 2.0

If he's not going to coach an attack system, get rid of him.

Is it too early to start a draft game so we have something positive to talk about?

Scoring goals = bad. Coaching according to Ralph.

Ruff's not going to change a whole lot. Keep changing coaches and the results will still be the same.

um what? you should be going for the 1-1 goal. I'm getting the feeling the players are built to play one way- and he wants them to play like the swiss national team- major disconnect there and that's why it looks like an emotionless game.
For a motivational speaker, he obviously had a lousy time getting the point across there.

But I agree with what he said. Emmerton was teeing up in the second because our forwards were basically in the neutral zone waiting for a breakout. The third period wasn't any better either.

This team needs players that can get the bloody puck away from the other team. The epitome of this problem could be summed up in the 3rd when Zetterberg and one other Red Wing were dummying all five Oilers in our zone. I was laughing at how pathetic our defensive structure is.

It's embarrassing.

And there's no point in firing the failure GM either, right?

Well of course when you spend 75-80% of the game in your own end.

We are an offensive team, and that's what we should focus on first.

I would much rather lose 5-3 or 6-4 than 2-0 3-1 or even 1-0

If you fire the GM then bring in a new coach along with him.

Change both, not one or the other.

Get serious.

First goal was an easy stop. "Handcuffed" lol. He botched it.

2nd goal was plain horrible. Dubnyk drops to his knees in surrender as we see so often and a guy with zero goals on the year(or any idiot) reads just shoot high, and its an instant goal.

This isn't even an NHL goalie at this point telegraphing going down so early.

lets point out as well the 4 shots that rang the bar that also got by Dubnyk. Some of them routine saves.

In the second period alone Dubs was beat 4-5 times. Clang, Clang, Clang.

Lol, perhaps the mighty coach should include offense and maybe even shooting in the game plan.

The Leafs didn't do that. Seems to be working for them.
