Yes, Gus had a bad 2nd period but so did the rest if the team. Overall he's been much better then Gervais.

its clear to me gus needs more pt. He has the skills but right now he is second guessing himself. If or when we are out of the playoff race id like to see him get 20 plus minutes a night and on the top pp.

Just tell him hey its ok to fail we are already out of the playoffs and see what he can do without that type of pressure.

Bryz must go either this off season or the next (if Snyder decides to shell a boatload of money for buying him out). His contract is not sustainable and his play is not inspiring, but tonight loss is not on him. That's my personal opinion.
Sorry didn't mean to attack you. I'm just somewhat tired of people defending every goal Bryz lets in like he's not at fault. I dont think he should have been pulled honestly. Boucher is absolutely terrible and probably shouldnt be in the NHL anymore.

I 100% agree though. The team overall is too inconsistent. Might look like a playoff team on paper, but paper and real thing are different.

He had a pretty bad game today, but its weird because he was not fumbling the puck like he has the past 2-3 games. He looks completely different then he did the first 7 or so games.

Gervias has been terrible also the past 2-3 games.

he is a very good puck possessor and can skate and stick handle. but on the D end when he is pressured the puck is like a grenade on his stick he cant wait to get rid of it.

I think that ease will come with more opportunity and more playing time , right now he is just fighting for a job.

I did not take it personally (it would take much more than this to get me). No apologies needed.

Danny deserved to play over him. One of his best games, only -3.

The last time the Flyers blew a 3 goal lead and lost in regulation was 20 ****ing years ago, 1993 against Detroit. EPIC COLLAPSE.

Hasn't Bryz played like 23 out of 25 games? He's probably already played into the ground.

Since the start of last season the Flyers are 4-17-1 against the Devils and Rangers. Are you kidding me?? Knew it wasn't good but that's a joke.

No excuses for this one. It was Stevens-esque.

oddly enuf that was my reaction aswell..

it isnt far fetched to think he had just been told privy info as Captain moments before his presser...

he def. seemed flustered at first.

You think they pulled him off to the side and told him the coach was fired before he took his jersey off and then sent him out to the media with that info in his brain?? No.

Maybe he was aware before the game that tonight was the Flyers last chance to make the playoffs, idk, but he was definitely crying which is weird.

Yeah, tonight drops them hard in the standings. I'm sure these guys can do basic math related to their own livelihood.

Not sure how you can dismiss the idea so quickly.

I doubt it'd be crazy for the captain to get word on such a big move pretty quickly.
