2 Nicknames I want to see catch on.

1. Jake Allen- Jackal. It doesn't quite work as well as CuJo used to due to the lack of "c", but as long as he wants to keep playing well enough to win, the kid deserves a nickname and this one kind of works.

2. The Stewart Beglund Perron line-The Expendables. We have seen the movies and if ever there were 3 players playing like action stars, it is these three. Plus the whole tradebait thing that has been going on for all three.

Yes I am bored.

Don't like the first one, but the 2nd is awesome and will be used.

I've heard Pietrangelo be called several things. A-Pie, Pie, Pietro, Piets, and the worst...."Jello" for when he's playing bad. Just things I've overheard at the games I've been to over the years so far.

Okay don't think I support Jackal for Allen, but could definitely get behind 'The Expendables' line.

My core group of friends use the following -

Berglund - Thor, just because he kinda looks like him

Tarasenko - T-91 - I know he doesn't care for the tank nick name but it goes in line with the Russian Tank series, T-90 is the most recent, so he is a step up and his number

Did "The Snake" ever catch on as a nickname for Jake Allen? It kinda fits, seeing as how he has slithered his way into the starting goaltending role with the big club (that's a stretch, I know ).

I like "The Expendables" line though.
