I don't want to face Datsyuk, Zetterberg or Franzen in the playoffs ever. Those guys really turn on the jets in the playoffs.

Central and Midwest are easier divisions by far in my opinion. Out of those two divisions, with the exception of the Blackhawks, Bruins, and Redwings, the rest have been somewhat borderline teams.

The Pacific and Atlantic are crazy good.

If we ever make it to a cup final while still in Phoenix, I don't care who we face. I'll assume they're really good, and we're really good.

I'd take my chances against the Wings given they're aging and beatable on the blue line. That said, the match-up is highly unlikely given neither team will win it's division....so it would have to a 4-5 pairing.

Now, what I'd REALLY like is a first round rematch against Chicago who would have EVERYTHING to lose!!

Avs dominate the Blackhawks 6-2 officially ending the streak. Looks like it's time for a complete rebuild in the Windy City.

The first two yes.. Franzen, not s much the past few years. Last year he was almost pathetic.

Got bored and decided to screw around with stats and found that you guys are the team that generates the highest % of the team's shots taken by a Dman with 34.72%, 10.6 shots per game from the defense.

yay

Ottawa was second, Nashville 3rd, and Pittsburgh last

Lol trust me, I wouldn't care who we played if it meant us being in the SCF.

Watched that game. It was awesome. Duchene is so fun to watch. He is unreal.

After last night, Jets are floundering in the East at 9th place with 25 points after 24 games.

This Sharks/Blues game is pretty chippy in the first period. Would recommend watching.

This won't mean as much to a lot of the posters here, but I saw this before the Pens/Leafs game on NHL Network, from CBC HNIC, and it's an incredible tribute to a Canadian legend and hockey in general:

3. Minnesota 28
4. Los Angeles 30
5. St. Louis 28
6. Detroit 28
7. Vancouver 28

11. Nashville 25
12. Colorado 24

One of those really weird games today. Florida outshoots Tampa at home 39-13 but loses 3-2 in regulation.

Corey Perry suspended for 4 games after that nasty hit he made in Minnesota last night.

After the BoG vote, it's officially official.

Quote:
Western Conference (7-team divisions)

Within Conference (Division): 29 games

* 5 games vs. five teams (3 Home/2 Away vs. two teams, 2 Home/3 Away vs. three teams) AND 4 games vs. one team (2 Home/2 Away). Teams rotated on a yearly basis.

* 5 X 5 =25 games

* 1 X 4 = 4 games

Within Conference (Non-Division): 21 games

* 3 games vs. each team (2 Home/1 Away vs. four teams, 1 Home/2 Away vs. three teams). Teams rotated on a yearly basis.

* 3 X 7 = 21 games

Non-Conference: 32 games

* 2 games vs. each team (1 Home/1 Away)

* 2 X 16 = 32 games

(Exception: one team from each division plays one less game inside Division and one more game inside Conference outside Division)

Eastern Conference (8-team divisions)

This ducks hawks game is fun...ducks just scored to take the lead and a bad double minor call was missed in the last 4 minutes.

And Ducks seal it to have the same amount of reg losses as Chicago.

According to the main board as of right now, the deal is not 100% yet.

They don't want a press conference in the middle of the night. Iginla leaving is a big deal, it's a respect thing mostly.

Unreal. Him and Crosby can be dangerous together.
