Isn't life great for a former 1st round draft pick? Do nothing and teams will still line up to give you a job in the NHL.
Great day for Sharks fans if Anaheim is really hitching their wagon to Getzlaf instead of Perry.
Getz is a man. Perry is a punk. If you have to choose between those two, Getz is my man.
Thereís a lot of things wrong with this country, but one of the few things still right with it is that a man can steer clear of the organized ******** if he really wants to. Itís a goddamned luxury, and if I were you, Iíd take advantage of it while you can.

I dont think Perry will be traded. I think the Ducks will load up at the deadline for a Cup run considering what their team might look like next year.
I think it's fitting that Perry is the first two syllables of Parise, because that looks like his fate. Team decides not to trade him for a Cup run, then regrets the decision when they lose and he takes a boatload of money elsewhere.
Nash leading the Rangers in points. I laugh at everyone who said he sucks and would have been a bad thing for the Sharks...
At least you aren't the only one laughing. Nash has 3 points more than Marleau who is stone cold and 4 points more than Pavelski who has roughly 1/2 the cap hit. He would have been a bad thing for the Sharks.
Ducks seem to either be crazy, betting on the cap changing in the short-term (indexed for inflation maybe?), or betting on their younger player will improve faster than the league norm. The cap goes into full effect next season, since teams can exceed the cap for this year.
Also, it appears that the new playoff format means less revenue that the previous/current one. This also makes it somewhat more risky for the Ducks and other teams that carry expensive players.
