Article on Visnovsky

Got it from LGK. Thanks

( it is NOT in English)
http://www.sme.sk/c/2811749/Visnovsk...-na-Orave.html

It mostly deals with what Visnovsky has been doing since the season ended for the Kings. Then, there is a short comment on the Demitra trade (In terms of hockey sense, his trade to Minnesota is difficult to understand, it may make sense in terms of pure business. I will anyway be eager to hear how the Kings' GM will explain that to the fans, if he will explain anything at all..") and on his future in the NHL:

He still has one year remaining on his contract with the Kings, plus the option for one more if both parties are interested.( "I would prefer not to use the option and make room for signing of a new multi-year contract" )he indicated the strategy.

He may be a UFA after 2006/2007 season.

Good to hear that he wants to stay. Hopefully we can lock him up.

I'm glad to hear that aswell.

But how much do you think it will cost us to resign him?

McCabe got $7.1M and he put up similar numbers to Vish last year.

Why do you have to give LGK credit? No one there wrote it. Of course those jobless hippies are going to post it first.

Just like when people always credit Spector instead of the paper that he got the information from (and which he gives credit to, himself). Don't say "according to Spector" when the information is from a hard-working beat writer's article that Spector even provided a direct link for. Talk about over-crediting the messenger. That kind of thing bugs me.
