Hank can do a back to back. He can sit out sunday, and that would mean he would be back tuesday. That is 3 day rest...
They haven't overworked him..

He will get his rest. Tonight isn't the right game for it. He had half a season to rest.

I'd leave the Hagelin - Stepan - Nash line alone and put Richards with Callahan and Gaborik... for what it's worth. That Stepan line had constant pressure last night.

Pretty interesting goalie matchup. Lehner's dad was Lundqvist's goalie coach in Sweden and he always used to give Lehner pointers when he was younger.

do they maybe even leave Miller at C? Either with Gabby and Cally or move Boyle to the wing
Powe, Halpern, Haley.........better not see Bickel

Hopefully Lundqvist schools the student.

I think Torts is going to be bouncing people around all night. I don't think he can figure the lines until they can get at least a practice in...
Richards certainly makes an issue because Steps has been playing great with Nash, and Miller and Cally have chemistry...
they could try Richards/Gab/Pyatt again and see if something happens..
or he can slot Richards between Powe/Pyatt as well.
I do agree that it seems the perfect time to slot Boyle as a 4th line winger with Halpern. But I don't think Torts will go for it..

Rangers havent beaten Ottawa at MSG since 2009. No matter the goalie he always seems to stand on his head.

I doubt you'll see Miller at center.

yeah, which is unbelievably stupid. But that is a legit possibility...
I wouldn't be terribly shocked if Torts did this...

I wouldn't leave Miller as my 2C, but I'd have no problem with him taking over Boyle's spot at 3C... I'm not sure Tortorella is confident in Miller as a defensive center yet though..
How about this:
Hagelin - Stepan - Nash
Gaborik - Richards - Callahan
Powe - Boyle - Miller
Pyatt - Halpern - Haley
You're def missing some speed in your bottom 6 though...

I hope they leave miller at center. I like how he has looked at center. Do whatever you want with Boyle at this point. The guy probably won't score more than a goal or two this year.
And I agree with you guys no reason to see Bickel. A fourth line of Powe, halpern and Haley will actually be serviceable. Halpern has been a pleasant signing and would definitely take him over Boyle.

Our offense as a rule makes it look like every visiting goalie is standing on their head .
Rangers 3 Ottawa 2 in a SO . Neil runs rampant again on us but does have one fight with Haley .

I don't see why Pyatt-Miller-Powe would be better than Pyatt-Boyle-Miller.

More mobility at center. It would move the play along a lot quicker, IMO, and Miller has looked very good at center, whereas on the wing, he wasn't very effective at all.
