Rick Nash vs. Corey Perry

Let's say salaries are equal and you could sign Perry to an extension exactly equal to the remainder of Nash's current contract: 5 years, 39 million. Who would you rather have on your team for this year and the next 5?

I honestly don't feel there's a wrong answer here. Virtually identical career PPG, a Rocket Richard each, and both bring more than points

I'd much rather have Perry.

Nothing against Nash, though. They're both tremendous players.

And their point production. And their +/-. And their hitting. And their PIMs. And their PK time.

Memorial cup champ, Stanley cup winner, Hart winner, Rocket Richard winner

just wins, hopefully he can complete the triple gold club

While the numbers might be similar I think the only thing Nash has on Perry is his skating ability. Perry uses his size a lot better(not sayiing Nash doesnt) and is a true ******* to play against

I would say Perry because he's hit that next level (MVP season)

But to say it's not close is comical at best.

I voted Perry but this is the worst logic ever. Lets break it down:

Memorial cup champ- Who cares?
Stanley Cup- Not going to take it away from him but he was a 2nd/3rd liner when they won and probably the Ducks 9th or 10th most important player.
Hart and Rocket- Really nice but you made it seem like he won them in separate seasons.

Also lol at the people saying its not close.

The worst logic ever is saying that he's a winner? Not sure if you know the definition of logic.

Okay. How does Perry having a Stanley Cup and a Memorial Cup prove he's a better player than Nash?

Neither of those individually prove anything, the fact that he's won almost everything there is to win at 27 says a lot

I'd like to see what kind of #'s Nash would produce playing with a center like Getzlaf.
