Wow Butler and Boychuk both had golden chances there.

Great win tonight. Can't say we didn't score after 6 goals. Great that we got Rinne the shutout after the last few games. Wilson with a great game. Good contribution by everyone tonight. Hornqvist injury is the only bad news.

Congrats, Preds fans. You earned it. Like I stated beforehand our team is crap and plays like they don't care.

What I really liked, regardless of the opponent, was the aggressive forecheck. We had 2 guys on the puck at all times.

I can't believe we got a shut out with Trotz matching our 4th line with Edmonton's 1st.

Its also nice to see Bourque and Smith on the PP, though Kostitsyn has to go.

All looked good enough not to be benched.

Butler - Drew 2 penalties. Would hover towards the slot in the offensive zone.

Boychuk - Nice deflection and hit a post. Good speed. He has some moves. But was fairly invisible the first part of the game (can't really hold it against him too much though)

Bartley - Solid defensively and willing to jump in the play. Very fast. I would say his game tonight was comparable to how Josi plays with a bit more physicality.

I think Butler had some great looks and nice chances. Looked really good early on especially, and then late as well.

Boychuk was quiet early, but seemed to hit a spark sometime in the second, and basically got better with every shift from that point. I'd say that beside Wilson, he probably one of the best forwards. His goal was a little lucky, but he came very close to getting another on a nice snipe that beat Danis and clanked off the post.

Bartley...eh. He was okay, didn't do anything great or anything horrible.

Sorry but Boychuk and Butler did not impress me at all. Mostly invisible except all the times I noticed Boychuk falling all on the ice. Glad we got the win but for a while in the second period we seemed to take the foot off the pedal and if you get a team down 3-0, you must go for the kill at that very moment. We finally got there but I was not overly impressed even though we won 6-0. We can do that to a team like Edmonton but try doing that to one of the top teams in the league and see what happens. Not trying to be a Debbie Downer but there is still a lot of work to be done with this bunch.

It wouldn't surprise me if Kruger finds a pink slip soon. Edmonton has to much freaking raw talent and the ability to roll 3 really solid offensive lines yet I was not worried about their offensive skills last night except for one or two shifts where they played keep away but other than that, I was not impressed.

Smile a little more, Nick (Saban).

Give them more than one game. Being critical about a 6-0 win is a little much. Legwand, Fisher, Erat, etc have had 20 games to be inconsistent. These new guys should get more than one to prove their worth.

Congratulations, we somehow managed to beat one of the few teams worse than us. It's hilarious how Preds fans think all of the sudden we are "fixed" and and everything is turning around after one win against a crappier team that had just played a game the night before. I'm giving it 3 games before I show any sort of optimism, I still think Poile needs to grow a pair and do some trades.
