Jurco is starting to produce it seems. I was glad to read about his work ethic in RWC, because he has all the natural tools.

Nice to see AA is back and healthy. And good game by Mrazek

Thanks for the update Bob.

Thanks for posting video.
First goal was sweet.
Second goal- I wish they had a slo-mo of the goal instead of the celebration

Quite bad but he was sticking up for AA so he gets a plus. Almqvist's first game back as been mentioned, solid night with two assists.

It was a bit of a coming out party for Jurco. I thought he was engaged and really looked like a top forward. 3+1 last two games so maybe this is where he finally takes off?

Griffins had a good amount of chances to score more but Tokarski was really good for them, Mrazek of course was very solid aswell.

Let's hope Jurco can take off from this point on, and it would really help the Griffins out.

Almqvist has had a solid year, any chance he could make the Wings in the future? Even though its gonna be crazy hard on a few years.

When tatar and Andy get demoted, it's going to be tough to get these kids the icetime they all need

I watched the 1st period and really liked that 2nd line Jurco-Ferraro-Mursak, as well as Almqvist on the backend. He's so smooth with the puck in his own zone, made a lot of great opening plays. And he doesn't look that small anymore so I'm starting to believe he could be a NHLer if he works on his skating and gains weight.

I think Jurco is a prime break out candidate next year. I haven't any Griffin games recently but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if next year he had .8 P/G or even was a P/G. He should be the main offensive option next year with Sheahan/Jarnkrok/ as his center, either of them are able to produce offensively. He'll have a quite a bit of offensive up front with him again & even more on the backend.

Thanks for posting. I like those Griffins uniforms. Good to see Jurco break out a bit. Also nice work by Aubry to be able to push past a defender along the boards to set Jurco up on that first goal. Looks like it was another strong outing for Mrazek.

Highlights are up again from tonight's game, 2-1 win over Lake Erie, Goals from Hoggan and Aubry.

Also, if you haven't already I'd suggest subscribing to the Griffins YT, they post same day highlights *( for home games) and plenty of cool get to know and behind the scenes vids.

Thanks, will do. It's too bad they didn't have a better replay of Aubry's goal. He's had a couple games in a row where he's put up points, good for him.

I still say he's got the most upside of anyone in the organization outside of maybe Sproul. Probably the only guy in the org that has even a snowball's chance in hell of scoring 40 goals someday.

4-1 Win today over the Bulldogs, Gus with a 3 point night.

Did anyone catch the game, how'd he look?

I kinda regret my decision to watch the Wing's ****** showing against the Jackets.

You think Tatar can pot 40 goals in an NHL regular season?

Did Zetterberg look like he was going to score 40 in the NHL in his first 27 games?

Impossible to predict 40 goal scorers outside of the lottery picks. If you're lucky you just hit the jackpot. Would be amazing if 2-3 of our prospects could become 30 goal guys.

Yes.
If he plays with a set up center and first line PP minutes, I do.

This guy lives to score goals and he's got the speed and the skill to get it done.

It's been a long time since I've seen a Red Wings prospect who was so eager to score.

I think he'll bee a regular 25 goal guy who peaks at 35 to 40 goals.

He's exactly what this team is missing. A guy who doesn't even look up to see if anyone is open to pass to

I couldn't find Mursak in the line-up against Bulldogs, is there a reason why he was scratched?

Edit : Of course there is a reason but what is it?

Haven't seen a word about it. Strange. Over at Griffinscentral, Stripe did a huge writeup on the game and didn't even list Mursak as injured or scratched.

The radio broadcast on Sunday mentioned that he was out with an injury. I was not really paying attention so I do not remember the details but from the sounds of things it is/was not real serious.
