Sure they still get a free pass for #1 for one more week

Wished the first loss could have been closer but it happens. Team was out of gas, Craw had a bad game and the Avs wanted this like nothing else. Time to get back to regular hockey now.

Maybe. Anaheim's center's been tearing it up lately, post-up fiend. And they never get called for goaltending.

We'll see.

Hate to see the Hawks play that badly to end the streak, but it was a hell of a ride to start the year. And I have to say that this board is surprisingly content after the loss. I figured it would be wall to wall *****ing about every little thing.

With that said...
Fire Bowman
Trade Crawfull and Odoodoo
And for the love off god bring back Ryan Johnson because face offs mean everything

Wait so the league is taking away Columbus and Detroit from us and giving us Minnesota and Colorado? Does anyone see a problem with that matchup wise?

The teams we fatten up on in the west SJ Van LA DET COL PHX AND ANA are all going to divisions that we are not in. I hope we do well against WIN because the rest of that division is a struggle.

Exactly. I thought it was coming last game in Detroit. Don't mind losing to a bunch of youngins.

Funny how faceoffs really do impact the game. Terrible night in that department. Makes the team chase the play every time. Not too worried about it.

Hat's off to the Avs! They brought their A game and ended the streak.

There's no "top of the hat" smiley, or I'd've used that one.

Awesome! It was fun to watch, even from way over here in the (way) northeast corner!

I really want to see how Crawford plays next game, last night was bad and last year he would let bad games carry over and ruin his play for weeks at a time. I really want to see him bounce back strong and prove last years CC isn't the real CC.
