**** I'm pissed. I wake up and check the box score and see Lucas with 18 minutes and Telfair with 5 and Ross with DNP.

What in God's name is our coach doing?!?!?

Ross coming off a solid outing playing 22 minutes and DNP last night? Wtf? No wonder he can't get going. We are certainly not in a position to be sitting our 8th overall pick all game. Holy crap I'm so pissed.

Not to mention Telfair is much better than JL the turd and was coming off an excellent game.

Hell, JV looked like he was having a great game and he only played 17 minutes.

I think Gay has been fine lately. Sure he had an awful game last night just looking at his percentages but he's gonna have those game. Especially with Casey calling ISO after ISO after ISO.

When we get a competent coach, I think you're going to see a big difference in not only Rudy Gay, but the entire team.

EDIT: and that Aaron Grey double team that he called.... That's just hilarious

I bet the upper brass will say that the Raps are .500 since their terrible start, let's see what they can do with a full season with Gay and decide to bring BC and DC back

Can't speak to the other stuff because it was ridiculous, but Valanciunas had foul trouble all game long. He picked up 3 quick fouls in the 1st half and sat for quite a while, then got 2 more over the course of the early 2nd half.

As much as it sucks not having stability at the head coaching position, I feel like Casey has to go. BC as well, both of them have to go. We need a fresh start. Enough is enough!

It only says he had 4 fouls, but even then why does Casey care about his foul trouble and take him out when he won't even let him play in the 4th and OT anyways?

Is it the coach's fault Gay couldn't shoot in Memphis this year, too?
MEM 14.1 PER, .478 TS%
TOR 14.9 PER .461 TS%

Terrible.

Assuming Casey is fired, I guarantee you will see a significant improvement from Rudy Gay next year

How do you figure? This is the way Rudy Gay has been his whole career to date. I think we're well past the point before which he could be moulded into something different. It's fair to say that by now, he is the same Rudy Gay that he will be for the remainder of his career.

BC picked up the option on his contract last summer, so I doubt MLSE would be happy if he fires him months later after doing that.

And BC should not get the chance to fire another coach. When does the attention turn his way?

I think we can all agree that this is probably Rudy's worst year so far in the NBA. So I think he could atleast get back to his old level. I also read an article where Rudy talks about his bad percentages this year. He says something along the lines that he was trying to change/evolve his game and take it to the next level but whenever you try to do that, your percentages are going to go down. He seems very confident he can be more efficient. He also mentioned his shoulder injury that ended his season. He said that has significantly impacted his 3 point shooting most notably. He also believe that a good off season he could fix that.

Obviously not word for word what he said but still.

Well I am hoping that BC gets fired too so maybe he won't have to make that decision.

Just watching Acy's D-league game today and he's just a beast. He's too good and definitely an NBA player.

Ross with back to back threes. Nice keep it going. Fans, especially on realGM have been down on him lately. People gotta be patient with these young players. At one point he was playing very well and people were saying he was already better than Derozan and looked like a future Allstar. After a bad stretch people are calling or his head calling him a bust and terrible. Rookies are going to go through their ups and downs though.

Even Waiters was pretty bad at the start, and terribly inefficient. Same with Beal. Difference is that their teams stuck with them and were patient and allowed them to play through their struggles. Now they look pretty good.

Great spin move for the layup by Ross there

I've also noticed he's been a lot more aggressive. Taking it to the basket ALOT more. Which I'm loving.

And lol at Ross getting benched in the 4th. He was playing great and getting his game back, feeling comfortable. Casey cant have that can he? Casey is the worst coach in the NBA and I say that with complete confidene.

What was Bargs excuse today for not playing? He is getting tiring. Why not just send him home!

He strained something in his arm I think. Must be nice to have all that talent and do nothing to improve yourself. You don't have to work hard or put in effort. You just visit city to city with a group of guys and play basketball and get paid millions of dollars every year. What a life he has.
