duul lives in GTA. I checked his profile this morning when the thread foirst went up. he played for the toronto nats with skinner and seguin. Obviously those aren't his friend as they are in the nhl but he may have friends in the ohl from his junior days.

I hope his friend is correct.

The only guy that I can think that matches this description (notable prospect, both he and his bro are from Toronto area and both drafted by eastern NHL teams, and plays in the ohl) is Malcolm Subban. God I hope there's more to it if I'm right..

Brock McGinn is the younger brother of Jamie and Tye (drafted in 2010 by Philidelphia). He's from Fergus Ontario (just outside Toronto) and currently plays for the Guelph Storm.

He was drafted by Carolina in the second round of last year's draft.

I think we have a winner.

Since you got his whole life story can you give us scouting report on him?

So, I'm thinking a potential blockbuster or just a pretty big trade is in the works now with Edmonton for obvious reasons (our struggles, our assets). My buddy seems to think he'll be headed to Edmonton as well, but of course they're not going to tell him where he's headed due to not having a NTC and not even playing on the big club yet.

Pretty exciting stuff to look forward to boys. The organization he's apart of is not exactly a powerhouse, but looking at their roster they definitely have some interesting pieces.

It can't be M Subban,Boston is a powerhouse team.

Yeah that's all the Oilers need is another average sized forward...

I don't really follow the OHL too closely so I've never seen him play. Most of what I know about him I just learned from this:

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=634613

He's a smallish forward who's got good enough offensive upside to get drafted in the second round. Given the size of his eldest brother he might still have a growth spurt in him.

Presumably this rumored deal involves more players than Brock McGinn.

What would Carolina give us for Hemsky?

Thanks for the tip dude... you heard it here first ladies. Tambo is pulling the trigger on today. Big decisions finally made. Decided he prefers Turkish Donairs (Whyte Ave) over Primetime.... damn wait a minute, Turkish went out of business in 2006... Tambo drops the ball again.

It's not Mcginn, but you're close. I suggest sticking with Carolina proposals.

OK I think I know who it is then but I won't post it.

The important thing is he's a Carolina prospect.

Sticking with Carolina and OHL...

Are we bringing in Hall's former line mate, Justin Shugg?

edit: Damn, Soli just ruined the fun. I know now.

Am I missing something?

That's a badass name though.

Mats Abrahamsson.

Almost as good as Tore Vikingstad.
