duul lives in GTA. I checked his profile this morning when the thread foirst went up. he played for the toronto nats with skinner and seguin. Obviously those aren't his friend as they are in the nhl but he may have friends in the ohl from his junior days.
He's from Toronto and was drafted by an Eastern conference team. I played high school hockey with his big brother who is actually also a draft pick of an Eastern conference team.
Maybe I've given up a little too much now.
The only guy that I can think that matches this description (notable prospect, both he and his bro are from Toronto area and both drafted by eastern NHL teams, and plays in the ohl) is Malcolm Subban. God I hope there's more to it if I'm right..

Brock McGinn is the younger brother of Jamie and Tye (drafted in 2010 by Philidelphia). He's from Fergus Ontario (just outside Toronto) and currently plays for the Guelph Storm.
He was drafted by Carolina in the second round of last year's draft.

I think we have a winner.
Since you got his whole life story can you give us scouting report on him?
Was texting a buddy who's not part of the Oilers organization right now but he was told there's a very good chance he's on the move. He also said rumours floating around his own organization are that there are a couple guys who are going to be on the move within the next few days along with him.
So, I'm thinking a potential blockbuster or just a pretty big trade is in the works now with Edmonton for obvious reasons (our struggles, our assets). My buddy seems to think he'll be headed to Edmonton as well, but of course they're not going to tell him where he's headed due to not having a NTC and not even playing on the big club yet.
Pretty exciting stuff to look forward to boys. The organization he's apart of is not exactly a powerhouse, but looking at their roster they definitely have some interesting pieces.
It can't be M Subban,Boston is a powerhouse team.

Yeah that's all the Oilers need is another average sized forward...
He's a smallish forward who's got good enough offensive upside to get drafted in the second round. Given the size of his eldest brother he might still have a growth spurt in him.
Thanks for the tip dude... you heard it here first ladies. Tambo is pulling the trigger on today. Big decisions finally made. Decided he prefers Turkish Donairs (Whyte Ave) over Primetime.... damn wait a minute, Turkish went out of business in 2006... Tambo drops the ball again.

It's not Mcginn, but you're close. I suggest sticking with Carolina proposals.
A little OT but why did we send VandeVelde down? Ya I know he isn't any good but I was wondering about the roster move when I looked I thought we were one under on the big league roster for lasts nights game.
Am I missing something?
