Fire the **** out of Lavy, sorry guys, his system right now is essentially trying to put a square puzzle piece in the circle spot, it isnt working, and it wont work with what we have. The team always comes out flat, absolutely no fire.

Buyout Bryz, I dont even hate the guy, but that contract is terrible, and if you can get a mulligan on that, jesus christ take it while you can.

If Kimo wants a cup, he will accept a trade somewhere
Kimmo can be traded this year i don't think he has a NTC and his ext doesn't kick in till next year that has a NTC.

Fire Lavi, for the love of god, do it now, at least get another coach and system in there so you can evaluate your pieces that you'd like to deal before the deadline...

Realistically, Homer and Lavy need to be let go. You are put in the position to make this team successful, one hasnt done enough personal wise to put this team over the edge, and the other is running a system that is wrong for the personal we have. We need two guys on the same page.

Yes it would be fantastic but he was arguably the team's best player in the beginning of the season and I think it more then plausible that playing his 24th game in 50 days has taken its toll on him.

None of you understand Bryz's style. He plays size percentages. He uses his size to make saves. If the team breaks down and he has to make an acrobatic save-- he is not the best guy to make those saves. Pavelec is. Bryz is slower.

Bryz's style is suited to a slowdown defensive game wherein he will see a lot of shots from angles he can get in front of.

He's the wrong goaltender for this team. He's a great goaltender for a defensive team.

He's an NHL Sega 96 goaltender. If you shoot straight at him he'll move over and make the save. If you deke (breakaways) or pass through the box for a shot or one timer-- he'll slowly move up the screen as the shot goes in.

1- Powerplay goal for Seguin
2- Can't really remember the second one, but I'm sure it sucked
3- The 3rd one was a horrible turnover by Couts which lead to a wide open Boston player.

Both the team and Bryz sucked during that period. The team had horrible coverage and turnovers all over the ice, but every single defensive breakdown shouldn't lead to a goal. Bryz wasn't there to bail the team out.

Doug McLean reported this week he's hearing of locker room issues with the team. If so, then somebody has to take a long hard look at how this organization is run or, next thing you know, Holmgren will trade off Giroux for a future that just never seems to happen. He couldn't be patient with Bobrovsky who literally was thrown under the bus by Laviolette in the Buffalo/Boston series' and then got rid of Carter to open up cap space for the most recent sieve, followed 20 minutes later by Richards for apparently a whole number of unverified reasons, including among others, locker room issues. And, near as I can tell, this team is absolutely no further ahead, in fact, it may have regressed. Hoepfully, time will bring about a better fortune but.......

Agree. The fact that homer didn't pick up a competent backup is a huge blunder.

Giroux has been really bad again. Like the rest of the team I don't see the effort. I wonder how long it'll take for the fans and media to turn on him as they did Richards.

I don't think they'll turn on Giroux like they did Richards. Richards was a perceived lack of effort and priorities elsewhere, like partying the night of getting swept by the Bruins. Giroux is all heart, he's still near a PPG, and he tries his hardest. Just watch his post-game from the Pens game, he was crying. Someone that good, with that kind of passion isn't going to be turned on easily. It's pretty obvious the entire team is contributing to these terrible losses. It's definitely Lavi that everyone will turn on.

I think Couts needs some time in the AHL, he's not getting the opportunities he needs to develop and the NHL is going to rob him of his confidence sooner rather than later.

Way to go Bryz on the .500 save percentage.

Thanks. I just caught the tail end of the couturier one looked like Bryz could have had that. He looked pretty slow on it.

I fully expect the Flyers to come out with a ton of pressure and chances in the first five minutes-- which will generate chances. None will go in of course and the team will fade into going through the motions while reflecting on new post game comments.

Looks like another month Lavy won't be able to pay the electric and cable bills again.

I just don't understand how Mr. Snider keeps allowing this team to look like a bunch of amatuers on the ice night after night, clean house please, and by clean house I mean can Homer and Lavy

In honor of our playoff theme from last year....

Rookie Mistake.

Snider must not care anymore, because if he did, we know exactly what would happen after this game

We should probably wait until the game ends before discussing theoreticals indicated by post game actions.
