Awesome backhand by talbot.

And as much as I love Rinaldo and I understand trying to get the team going you can't fight when you have sustained offensive pressure like that

Talbot has worse hands than Jody Shelley.

He's been impressing my lately, but I don't agree with that decision. Even if he won the fight.
Did you see Talbot flub that backhand in alone on Rask? We weren't scoring a goal with that line on the ice, might as well drop the gloves.

I've never understood the Philadelphia fan base mentality that getting one guy is going to change an entire team. It's simply delusional thinking.

While I agree at least it shows that he cares at this point. I can't say that about many players on this team.

I just thought of something. Imagine if we really did get Weber if Nashville didn't accept. Imagine if we lost that many draft picks, and we would still be doing this bad. We'd be more ****ed than we could ever believe.

Oh yeah, huge boost for the bench when Rinaldo gets tagged repeatedly and dropped like a sack of potatoes.

Wait, really? You think there was a "Big save" in there?

Did I miss a shot?

Was it the bad angle shot, the other worse angle shot, or the slow roller?

Flyers still only have one really good opportunity on Rask. Can't win games like that

I can't believe we have 18 million in cap hit locked up in Briere, Bryz, and Timonen lol. What a joke. I really ****ing hope Timonen is his old self for next year, otherwise that is 1/3 of the cap spent on dead weight.

The last example of that bruins scoring chance is why the flyers ain't going anywhere. Zone coverage sucks

Last years Flyers team won a lot of games and a playoff series together and so the locker room was obviously happy and close knit. When a team is losing and there's reports about "locker room issues" then that's usually because they're losing LOL. Obviously the team is frustrated, pointing fingers and pissed off at eachother, because they probably feel that they're better than what their record indicates.

Winning creates a great atmosphere and vice versa for losing. But when your team is winning and you still hear about locker room issues, then you know it's not about hockey anymore.
Wonder how much Mr Pronger had to do with the apparent, gradual onset of unverified "locker room issues" in 2011? He ended up being the voice of the team and the un-lettered captain. Really there was not much else to do with Richards than get rid of him cause, to my mind, the room was going to be split in two keeping both him and Pronger. Fortunately, Giroux doesn't have a Pronger type personality to contend with and, obviously, you're a lot happier winning rather than losing. But still one wonders if there's something more basically wrong with the way the organization's run ?????? In any normal job, you're not going to be successful if you continually ***** out the workplace so if losing is their issue, then start winning or find another place to play.
