What about wine? He's French so he should be fine, right?

He is, indeed, a Quebec Goalie-killer.

Luongo
Brodeur
Biron

All of them fell to Desharnais's power!!

Excited to see both Pateryn and Dumont in the lineup, although it's a joke that White comes out.
There is no way he has been worse than Moen or Armstrong. Goodness, Armstrong has been quasi worthless.
I can't really say anything about Mike Therrien, cause he's got his team first in the conference. But it is really only the young players and those with no clout (Kaberle, Ryder) that have to be accountable for their actions.
But whatevs, u know what they say, treat everybody fair but don't treat everyone the same.

Habs should and will win this one, 3-1.

I would for sure.

Markov-Emelin
Gorges-Subban
Boullion-Pateryn

gives us size and grit on each pairing. Emelin has done a great job of protecting Carey/having a mean streak/intimidating opponents IMO. Gorges-Subban have been solid, good ability to defend. and Boullion-Pateryn lets cube carry the puck, something he's done pretty well while Pateryn just keeps it simple and uses his size to clear the crease. Though cube has tons of grit, Pateryn will make his job in that respect way easier. What I also like is that the only D that could be considered soft right now is Markov, and he obviously knows how to take care of himself. If Pateyrn sticks, even just until Diaz returns, he could bring tons of balance to the Dcore. Amazing how adding one player changes one's outlook on a team.

I'd like:
Markov - Gorges
Emelin - Subban
Bouillon - Pateryn

Emelin is much more comfortable on the left. 4 good hitters in the bottom 4.

I like those lines alot! I doubt MT separates Emelin and Markov though. Emelin-Subban would be a treat to watch. Not just the hits, and having Emelin on his proper side, but The skating and offence that has recently come alive in Emelin would Complement Subban so well. They would have to be the 1st pairing IMO though. Gorges-Markov sounds great, but I wouldn't want them out together for 27mins a game.

Personally, I think Emelin is going to blossom into a legit top4 Dman. He has the size, fire, IQ, skating, and stick skills needed to do so. Only a language barrier and the fact that its his 2nd NHL season is holding him back. Still he looks better every game. If we can get him back over to LD, he will blossom sooner than later.

Its funny that you wrote this cause that would be the same i would put the defensemen except if Gorges-Subban always takes the tough matchups and play 24+ minutes but i dont see therrien doing it

It's a more personal drunkenness, whereas jager+beer+whiskey is a more poop-your-pants-a-tiny-bit-but-enough-that-it-counts kinda drunkenness.

I worry when there's too much optimism on the board. Our cosmic karma will bite us in the junk tonight. 4-2 Bolts.
