So the initial high stick that Aucoin took is okay but not the weak one he did?

With their first pick in the 2013 draft, the Blue Jackets select Alex Picard 2.0

How pissed are the Red Jackets fans that wore their Yzerman jerseys to the game right about now?

I dunno, they're losing so that helps their draft position and I've been led to believe that drafting high is the goal in the NHL.

The draft is so deep, I'm not worried about this. We're going to get a good player (or three) that should have an impact on our roster. I'd rather watch hockey and be entertained by good games and a hardworking team, then be bored to death all season just to finish last and get the second pick.

I'm not one of those "in JD/Jarmo" we trust folks, but I am going to at least hope if not trust that they'll do better than the team's past braintrusts.

Red Wings seem dazed as though they can't believe that the team they are playing is the Columbus BlueJackets.

The work ethic of this team is amazing. They just keep going and going. Wings just can't keep up with us.

We have a slew of picks in a really deep draft. Chill out about draft position.

Also, when you have a team that can consistently outwork other teams, its a playoff quality team. We probably won't make it this year, but things are looking up either way.

Yeah, brutal call robs Boller of a goal.

Hopefully he takes his rage out on Tootoo's face.
