Stewart knows that, but it's about the message that the Blues are sending to other players not only the sharks but also the other teams around the league. If you're going to mess with softer players like Perron, be prepared for the Blues players to ignore the rules in order to stand up for their teammates. You need to analyze the long term effects of Stewart's actions.

I had a feeling Couture was going to do something. I put him on the bench on my fantasy team last minute.

The Sharks deserved that bounce. They've been outworking the Blues.

Unfortunate bounce, nothing Petro or Allen could do about it.

Jackman didn't keep his guy to the perimeter. Petro just caught an unfortunate rebound in his skates.

I'm going to go ahead and acknowledge that rebound shift by Russell right there because most of you won't...

Safe to say the Sharks got some momentum from that sorry looking power play.

There is a difference in standing up intelligently and standing up dumbly. You can stand up for a team mate without slashing a guy while you are sitting on the bench.

Just look at what happened earlier in this game Marleau hit Backes and Backes did not do anyhting stupid he waited until he got a chance to hit Marleau back legally. Stewart could have waited a shift and done something while he was on the ice.

That goal doesn't happen if Jackman didn't get out worked.

Someone wasn't covering on that play. When Sobotka moves left to cover opponents, another forward should have been coming back with the scorer.
