Isn't that the very definition of an oxymoron?

General managers talk constantly. Scouts attend games constantly. Rumors abound constantly. If someone like McKenzie wanted to, he could do nothing but tweet rumors 24/7. He doesn't because the vast, vast majority of all that talk amounts to nothing, and he's not going to waste his time.

McKenzie rarely, if ever, talks rumours. Mostly just talks about done deals.

Any word on if you guys would be interested in Perry? As a rental or maybe a sign and trade? Just trying to figure out some potential trade partners out East if we can't resign Perry.

Who wouldn't be interested in him. I doubt he's traded until the draft. I'm guessing they'll keep him and continue their push and if they can't re-sign him, trade him at the draft for a pick or something.

Bryan Little would be a good, under the radar pick-up.

Little is a center and shoots right. I know that at times teams are all over those players but we have nothing but.

I like him and always have. He doesn't get the credit he deserves.

I like Bryan Little also and think he could play left wing if taught.....Not a bad pick up but do want a natural wing.

33 just wanted to know who on Twitter was a good source that posted hockey trade rumors. Why do you feel the need to talk down to everyone on every post? Either answer the question or just stay out of it...jesus.

How much scouting does a guy like Iginla really require?

Have there been Flames scouts at Bruins games?

There is no such thing as "reliable rumors." The concept is an oxymoron:

Quote:
a figure of speech by which a locution produces an incongruous, seemingly self-contradictory effect, as in “cruel kindness” or “to make haste slowly.”
If you want news, follow McKenzie or Dreger. If you want rumors, follow whomever you want.

Can't really tell much from that, Boston has a bunch of scouts everywhere.

What is the significance of having multiple scouts at one game? What does that really mean?

It's the California games, the Bruins have multiple scouts at all the Ducks home games lately.

From my knowledge no. I know Philly has been scouting the Flames alot the last few weeks and vice versa.

Iginla rumors have already long started. Three scouts says they're looking at multiple guys. Obviously Iginla(doubt he moves), but don't rule out a guy like Glencross and/or a guy like Stempniak.

I'm waiting for the tweet from Dreger or Mackenzie that the Bruins have re-acquired Dennis Wideman.

Glencross would be ideal - but I think it would take a pretty big overpayment to get him out of CGY.

Ya, I think he'd be hard to get than Iginla.

If that makes sense.

Nope I know exactly what you mean given his contract and what he can bring.

Three scouts...I would not know what they are doing from a hole in the wall, but it seems logical they are looking at multiple Flames. Glencross or Jackman would be good for roles here. Other than that, really wouldn't want any Flams....Giordano has nice talent.
