Jensen just missed on the blocker side. Great shot, nonetheless.

Screw getting a new coach. I want a new franchise. And I want it in Vancouver. Chicago Wolves are a terrible partner for the Canucks.

Lose the shoot out.

Climie had good game but a dreadful shoot out. Looked too tired to come out and back in with the shooter. Just stayed in the crease and gave lots of room.

Jensen had uneventful start. Announcers kept saying he was jet -lagged.

Connauton needs another benching. If anything he is getting worse.

Liked Archibald but he does need to improve his skating. Continues to get lots of chances.

Pinizotto showing very little.

I'm still cheering for Archibald, but if his skating still looks like an issue, I'm guessing that the AHL is as far as he gets (I know ... really going out on a limb here).

Is he actually regressing? Or is his defense just not improving? He was paired with Tanev for much of his AHL career, right? Is he just in need of a more complimentary partner?
It's perplexing to think that he's rapidly getting worse at hockey.

I liked the way Jensen was back checkingI thought they converted him to a dman for a bit. He often seemed to be in the defensive zone taking a guy.

I didn't see much offense from him but he was most likely jet-lagged

there was a weird play in OT where he passed to a dman because he was covered.. and then that dman passed it back to him but he was already covered and they became rather close to eachother. they both ended up giving the puck up which led to a great opportunity for the Admirals

I think you are right. Cannauton needs someone like Tanev to help him develop properly. then again, a lot of players need someone like Tanev. If only the Canucks could clone Tanev...

Trying hard to prove that he's defensively reliable on his first game back eh? Well, he certainly knows how to make his way to the NHL and AV's good books.

bingo, getting on AV's good side is crucial for Jensen, if he can then he will get every oppertunity to succeed

With the likes of Corrado, Price, Hutton, McNally, Tommernes being candidates for AHL spots over the next few years KCon might want to fix his defensive side or go wing. Not to say Sustr and Taker

KConn is a career minor leaguer unless there is expansion, or unless the organization finds a way to make him more useful (as a 3rd or 4th line forward).
In his 3rd season his offensive numbers are unremarkable (similar to his rookie numbers), and once again his plus/minus is the worst on the team at -11, while the teams leading scorers are a +14, +11 and +10 respectively.

I haven't seen him play this season, so I apologize for stat scouting, but taking into consideration what people who have seen him play are saying, and the fact that he's not even in the discussion as a fill in call up, I think he's virtually done in our organization barring a small miracle (he finds a niche as a role player up front, which is unlikely).

He's a perfect example of a guy who on paper looks to have everything needed to play in the NHL, but...

I still think players have taken a step back under arniel so I'm not willing to give up on certain players.

It will be interesting to see what he can do with Jensen. We know what mact was able to do with him in the few games he played

Cannata is getting the start. Otherwise the lineup is supposed to be the same as yesterday.

Cannata starts

Jensen again with Gordon and Pinizotto. Had a chance for pass from behind the net to open player but a little too hard

Wolves concede a shorthanded goal. How does Arniel justify not having Jensen out on this PP? 6 goals in 8 NHL games last season and a lot of that was on the PP.

Weak breakaway goal? That was all on the D getting overpowered on that drive to the net.
